Both my wife and I have Taurus Rising in us. We’re both very hardworking people, because we love going on adventures and affording nice things. Without work we cannot enjoy any of that. We’re already teaching our kids you have to earn things, because it won’t fall in your lap just by sitting around. I wouldn’t say that we’re materialistic either, its just that we don’t want to struggle. We want to be able to enjoy life doing what we want to do without limitations. Plus we have a lot passion in the careers we’ve chosen so of course we take work serious. I admit my wife can pause a room when she walks in without even trying. Lots of people do tell me that I have this easygoing nature about me while at the same time I don’t tolerate nonsense. People have also commented about my voice that it’s soothing, and they feel I have a singing voice which isn’t true. I cannot sing haha! Since I was a kid I’ve taken pride in how I dress as well my love ones. I use to dress my baby sister all the time. Telling my mom if I look good she has to look good. I am like that now with my kids. Haha Also my wife and I are goofy 🙃 & humorous. In life you must laugh 😆. Even when you want to cry to keep it going. I read that most Rising Taurus people have thick curly/wavy hair. Which is ironic since my wife has wavy & I curly. Our daughter is a Sagittarius Rising that has straight hair.
Sun in Gemini is something that pulled me out of this, but i did connect to luxuries and sensual pleasures though i have not been fully noticing this in me.i have been told i have a calm center,i enjoy beauty yet i kept procrastinating on cleaning things up due to other Air things or just disconnecting mentally. I grew up with a single mom, poverty, lack of stability but did have some good things. I value the most expensive things in life since i seek quality in everything i need or desire. I did get praised for my interior design skills in the past, things have to be beautiful to me :)

It's interesting my household was very frugal, even when we didn't need to be, so my desires for beautiful things is filled with a lot of guilt, but my venus is in cancer so i have a very warm inviting cosy home but everything is handmade or second hand out of severe guilt if spending money wantonly.
I am the exact same way my family was very frugal too I know the feeling but I still like nice things so most stuff is second hand but gently used includeing my clothing but I buy quality even in second hand . I also have Venus in Cancer
