I grew up in a mormon household where I definitely learned that my emotions, thoughts, ideas, expressions were NOT ALLOWED and that was a long arc of my life into my early thirties learning to unearth all that stuff and figure out what was going on and process an intensely oppressive environment. ALSO my healing from this experience has been deeply connected to the earth herself i.e. the pollution, degradation, raping etc awful behavior to the earth being a parallel of my own experience spiritually/psychically with the earth.
