Finland has a large army compared to other countries of its size and their training is top notch. They've also been preparing for defense since WW2. Now they are a NATO member. To invade Finland would be a fatal mistake by Putin.

yes, we learned our mistake from the WW2 where we were badly outgunned, and since tanks don't really work in the woodworks of Finland which is most of Finland, Artillery it is.
I live in Finland. There are a lot of rocks, lakes and forests. You are walking in the woods, climbing rocks and suddenly there are signs: turn around, because it is a military facility. If you look, you will find electricity, water, sewage, all underground or hidden in the rocks.

Guarding an explosives container during an exercise at night, was around -40 and lower but I was real comfy with a +40 fewer.... checked it back at the tent when it came to my turn to keep the spark for the night....the container was 3km away from the base ...😂😂 Tough night, and even if it wasn't difficult enough, the bottom slice of my ski peeled off during the stretch....got shipped to Kajaani the following morning...

Yes they have more then 1,000 artelery 60 fighters and 64 modern German tanks. - a lot soldiers.
1700-2000 artillery units. Minimum is 1680 units but there are many stored in parts. 200 Leopard tanks and 1000 000trained soldiers in wartime if needed. Much more if u count men over 50 years.

I feel like this is the Finnish hell march
Many here are plain ignorant than Finland during the WW2 Finish-Russian war of winter 1939/1940 the Russian army lost 30 divisions on the Karelian front of 800 miles, where the small Finish army of maximum 250,000 men lead by the general Mannherein have kicked the ass of the Russian making more than 300,000 Russians dead!!! Now they are certainly the best trained army in extreme cold climate on the planet until minus 45°C!!! The Russians knows perfectly their are not a match against them in direct conflict in spite the Finland have only 5,5 millions inhabitants against the 140 millions Russians!!! Their Army is actually of 13,000 active men, but they have a large reserve well trained by regular training on the field of 240,000 men ready to be mobilized in one week! The Finish army is based on the Swiss Army militia model with a very large active trained reservist force quickly mobilized, It is not like the Russians needing many months as we have seen on the Ukrainy front. They are the two only army in all Europe to be organised this way!!!
One week 280 000 soldiers. Reserve 900 000 and that is only men under 50. 50+ men are mostly good shape. They are ready to fight also if needed.

@@BeekillerJohanna That video was made for Finnish goverment and the people involved are also finns so i wouldn't be sure about winter landscapes. We have a winter every year so Lindsey was propably chosen for other reasons. Kind of like music carries the movie along.

It is not only Finnish soldiers but also Swedish soldiers we have had a common army, but Finland is in NATO, but Sweden will also join. It is only the Republic of Turkey and Hungary that have not accepted Sweden.
