  • Scrapping a big printer left by Shark Scrapper's dumpster. Most printers aren't worth scrapping but these large networked printers can have some nice boards inside and a steel skeleton.

    Tearing them down for scrap is sure a whole lot more fun than tearing them down to repair and put 'em back together so they work!

    The scrapyard my husband takes his stuff to if you don't have your stuff sorted out and there is someone behind you they make you leave and come back when you have everything sorted out

    What better place to scrap a monster copier/printer than next to a dumpster, lucky you !! I've always wanted to scrap one of those monsters. A very justified rant 💥

    I found one of these by a dumpster once.
    Tons of plastic, but quite heavy with all the metal. Some boards and motors and wires and a million screws for sure!

    What about all the screws left on the ground and rolling off between the tailgate and the bed?

    • @sharkscrapper
      @sharkscrapper  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      One needs to be very careful when scrapping outside like this to NOT make a mess. It does slow me down a little, but I pay attention to the screws as I take them out to reduce the likelihood of them being lost and left behind.

    Hello Shark Scrapper. I was watching a few of your videos and I was thinking, the magnet you keep in back of your truck, why don't you tie it with a sting that way if it gets caught on some metal you will notice right away and stop losing them! Just an idea.

    The school I went to had these. They were a bitch to get to the 2nd and third floors.
    One them broke down and was to be sold for scrap so they literally dropped it down the stair wells shaft and watched it explode when it hit the ground.
    It was fast and effective to seperate it.

    If they are old scrappers and they know better I agree it is rude, but if they are new scrappers and just need some direction, I have totally been there. There are so many metals and they are sorted so differently. Although if they know better then it can be irritating. I get it and it could irritate me too, but we all learn by making mistakes.
