You can do one or the other conquest or showdown. I did showdown and mini seasons. But for sure helps to do both

There's a little known way to get a save: If you bring in a reliever and the tying run is on deck, you get the save. You can just intentionally walk players until the tying run is on deck and you're all set

For anyone trying this now, i played the marlins and braves on all star difficulty (won both) and when i skipped to steal fans, the territory following atlanta had attacked me. It was a 10-8 matchup. FYI

You can get a save by just getting the last out of the game. You can Also be up by more than 3 and put runners on. If you are up 5 and bring Wagner in with 2 or 3 on…save eligible
Does dadhboarding work in conquest also? If I’m struggling in the 2nd inning and I bounce out will it allow me to restart that game I was in?

Man i started this today and already hit a road block. I won the game against the Rockies in HOF difficulty and as soon as i won the game they were still on attack mode and they automatically beat me 😕 i never seen that happen before

So one of the goals is to conquer Twins stronghold. If a CPU takes it over do I have to restart and get all the way to twins stronghold to be finished with conquest?
U don’t have to restart just keep plugging along
No, you can keep attacking. If Boston takes over that spot and you beat them the first time, it'll count as taking over Minnesota's stronghold.
Someone plz help I completed the conquest in 7 turn instead of 6 and it didn’t complete the conquest so now I have to redo it or can I go back to the last mission I spent 7 hours
You have to restart but already completed goals will still be completed so you don't have to worry about beating ATL on our before third. Just make sure you finish this time before or on turn 6. Unless I'm really late replying lol but for others who might see this maybe it helps
Conquest ai stops attacking after a certain amount of games. That’s why the marlins didn’t attack you were fine to skip to steal fans
Can you lose a conquest game or do you have to start the map over If you lose? I’m up to the cubs and still on my 1st turn and I’m debating if I should still play on all star or try and get some easier games in
You could not lose a game in the first five conquest games. Afterwards, as long as YOUR territory has more fans than the stronghold next to you, you should be good.

I used all switch hitters and players with 99 speed on the bench for the conquest
So I took your advice on when to steal fans and the marlins captured the braves stronghold so after beating the marlins twice I didn't get the reward for capturing the braves stronghold
That's so odd, I'd contact customer support, but make sure that on the blank map (before I capture any strongholds) that you've captured the stronghold it shows the Braves being in, originally. It's possible another team captured the previous MIA.
@@Bhlademyst I spoke too soon. I got the reward after capturing the next stronghold that was after where the braves stronghold was

What bug are referring to when you were talking about simming the games?
It’s not a bug, just a risk that with simulated games, you can lose despite having a considerable majority. It’s RNG really working badly against you.

If you lose it before capturing the first five strongholds it most likely will. If you lose it afterwards it is dependent on how many fans you have in that stronghold compared to opponents, if in steal fans it doesn't matter.

If all goals aren't completed, you will not receive the reward.

@@yuniorsanchez8578every time you steal then reinforce that would be a turn you need to beat the Braves either on or before you steal and reinforce for a third time
@@yuniorsanchez8578so with that being said if you reinforced 3 times the goal is still completable just don’t steal or reinforce again before the Braves stronghold or else that would be considered you playing the Braves stronghold on the 4th turn

Good tips for those playing since day 1 maybe. I only have 2 99 pitchers. Anyone beyond that is too hit-able on hall of fame to face anyone but their second starter at best with my 99s going up.

All captured territories should act as original territories for goals regardless of who is in control.

Great tips and explanation. But every time I try to steal fans from the Giants onward, the game wipes me out. Maybe they changed it.
Not sure I’m understanding, I wouldn’t attempt to steal fans until I’ve captured the diamondbacks stronghold.

Honestly I just did the 40 wins on the events, put all of the players in the collection, did the showdown, which took a bit, then did some of the moments and then conquest
