That's an interesting take. I usually tell DPS if they can't wait a second for me to build threat or target the marked enemies in the correct order and they pull aggro, they either come to me, or CC or tank the mob themselves :D Because I sure as shit will not turn my back to the mobs and make them cleave through the entire party if it happens. So often it happened that I've been trying to taunt a mob that was pulled off of me, and then the player starts running away and I had to chase them halfway through the entire dungeon that it's comical. So I stopped caring about aggro pulls :D
I would love to see every zone like the night elf starter zone. Hard and brutal but not as much mob density. Twice the leash distance and easier to pull aggro from distance. Bring fear back again. Force players to get good again.
Kalgan on Fri, 12 Oct 2007 02:19:53 PM PDT We're planning to shrink the min range on ranged attacks to reduce or eliminate the "dead zone". The only point to the dead zone was to ensure the min range on ranged weapons was enough such that ranged weapon attacks wouldn't be used while also being melee'd (at least by mobs... players have a bit of slush built in).😉
The changes are great for gaining new people. Hearing that Survival Melee hunter is now a real thing in classic, was the main reason for me to start playing Turtle. And I am having loads of fun with it while leveling.
I am new to Turtle WoW and whilst I am enjoying the game, I certainly have felt that I am EXTREMELY powerful and that the game is very easy - more so than typical in Classic WoW as a Paladin.
I agree with you about arcane. It always felt like it was a very mana efficient lvling spec and with the new talents from the old patches I think it was in a good place. Now I logged in for patch 1.7.2 and the burst spikes are crazy and mana gets consumed alot faster. Doesn't feel right.
Wow I haven't played in awhile and it's true about certain classes getting too buffed. I just solo'ed a sea giant a lvl higher than me without having the need to heal my pet. The scaling to hunters attack power has the pet doing crazy crits.

My husband who is a fresh wow player his warrior is his first character in WoW. Even he says it was easier to hold the agro before the patch. The need to offset the threat generation of warriors to meet that for the damage from mages etc. As a healer myself I have even seen paladins having the same issue and they were supposed to be buffed+. It now takes two tanks to run a dungeon in TWoW. They definitely need to do some balancing.
I played in the past but just came back and currently leveling a Demo lock. The biggest difference I've seen is there is a huge influx of griefers and trolls in the last couple of weeks. The Turtle WoW hype has attracted a whole lot of undesirable players.
Not sure on how 'easy' the game is. As a level 24 rogue, I tried to solo a level 20 elite for a quest in Durotar, and got absolutely destroyed. Popped every cooldown, used potion and life-draining skull (from earlier quest), and had decent gear (mostly magic/rare). So, I'm not really feeling the "ease" of combat. Got a warlock to help with the elite. He was level 20 (equal with the mob), and he nearly died after losing the VW. I was able to use some sticky glue to help with the fight, but we still nearly lost 2v1. So, in that fight, the game felt very fair and tough. Maybe it's the closer you get to end-game, but early game still feels challenging to me...at least on the rogue.

Have to agree with you on player patience when doing dungeons. Nobody lets you even hit the mob before they start blitzing it and then wonder what happened when you couldnt hold agro and the party wipes. I play a prot warrior and was partnered with a shamman that was 3 or 4 levels lower than me. If they couldnt handle the one mob hitting them how were they supposed to handle the other two that I was able to maintain threat on? Players need to be able to adjust their play to the situation at hand.
