I’ve recently gotten my grubby little hands on a 4000T. Geez, what a beast.
Thankfully mine ran fine out of the box (oh, yeah. It came boxed). I’m waiting on caps at the moment, but by some miracle there isn’t even the slightest hint of a leaky cap.
    Mines got a Phase5 060 and a CyberVision 64/3D.
I’ve been loving learning how to install, set up, and configure everything. I’m not an Amiga guy, so it’s been a steep learning curve.

As Dr Chris says , the A4000T is a beautiful Machine when it works, a ##### when it doesn’t!

Another great video. Why did you change to your crt when looking at system info and games ? Whats next on the bucket list ?

Thats a mystery to me. Display switches back to the CRT. I presume it cant handle the Picasso resolution mode,

@@commodorecave5581 I think I found the same thing, I bet the games would pass through fine to a VGA monitor (and certainly a lovely CRT) of the nineties or noughties, but I think a lot of flat screens and especially more modern ones have even higher frequency demands. I’m guessing the Picasso screenmode being used for the workbench display is high enough that when it is scandoubled it is sufficient to display on the modern monitor. I recommend trying a lovely big high quality VGA CRT (eg a Sony) which will give the best of all worlds.

Thats very interesting. I do have a couple of old VGA Monitors stored away. I will give it a try. Watch this space..... @@AmAtAm

The T's are pretty ugly computers IMO as the proportions are all wrong. You system looks to be in really good condition. Get yourself a ZZ9K and ditch the PIV. Scanbouble and RTG all through HDMI. You can even get replacement A4KT PCB sets and build a brand new board and ports modules. Amazing whats avaliable for the Amiga these days. Great video. USB and especially ethernet are soo handy on the Amiga, especially networking for file sharing and internet!
