- Many years of waiting resulted in an INCREDIBLE custom plush toy of Derpy Hooves from My Little Pony, made by QT Pony. This is her first unboxing and my reaction!
I am a collector of custom MLP plush and Derpy Hooves was custom made for me to my specifications by the very talented QT Pony (www.deviantart.... This Derpy plush is not available to buy in any store. She is completely original! You can’t get a plush of this kind of quality unless you find someone with enough talent to make it for you. QT Pony did that for me! Getting one like her would cost you between $800-$2500 USD depending on the maker and any additional accessories. Unfortunately, QT Pony is not taking commissions any longer.

I have! I'm not as sold on the new characters yet but I did enjoy the movie! Next plush is likely Cloudchaser, depending on when she gets done.. I have two in the works! The other is a surprise!
@@aphinity Don't worry the characters will hopefully get expanded when the series comes out. the movie is just to introduce the characters.

The muffin design is definitely quite “stylised” in MLP G4, that’s for sure!
And yeah, Derpy seems like just the pony to get accidentally trapped in a package! I’m happy for it, regardless!

I have never spent money on a custom pl. Or even plushes In general really. Do you know any good makers. I have beven debating getting a Pinkie plush.
A custom plush like this is very expensive compared to a mass-produced plush. If you're looking for a custom pony, I'd recommend looking up MLP plush on twitter, following posts on equestriadaily.com (they regularly post plushie compilations), or if you want a lifesize, try the list I posted in the video description. Good luck!

I just wanted to recommend EpicRainBowCrafts for one of your next plushies cause he does a really nice job on them. I’m currently saving for a daybreaker
Thanks for the suggestion. ERC has historically had significant issues with quality of hand stitching, assembly, and uses glue in obvious places to attach things like wings. Also, he has been proven to photoshop his images of plush before posting them to correct alignment of cutie marks or hide bad seams. This happened as recently as 6 months ago.
I think his plush patterns looks great, but I would be very concerned about quality of the final product. He advertises very strongly in many places so he has a name that people know, but I feel there are excellent products from other people I would choose first.
I would probably have to 2nd that opinion about ERC. I was strongly considering ordering from them, however after doing a little bit of research and actually viewing some videos about people's issues with the quality I have decided against them. They do seem to have very great designs, however if you're going to pay a premium price you would expect premium quality. That doesn't seem to be the case here.

@@Roomylatezombie He talks about some of the quality issues about the eyes. It's towards the end of the video. Personally I think the eyes do not look very refined around the edges. Enough that you can see it from a distance.

Not in mine, either! (Well, not many would). Don’t be afraid to order from outside of your country. Check into duties and taxes on import though.

She is roughly 55” long, and about 25” at the head if I were to guess

On occasion, yes, but usually only characters he makes and then sells at secret best-offer style sale
Do you have any tips for cleaning the giant plush
That's a big topic, and maybe one I'll cover in a future video. Essentially this: enzyme cleaner (such as Folex) diluted part way, spray on the plush and brush in to separate fibres, sit for 10 minutes or so, then wipe off or, if very dirty, rinse out with a carpet cleaner machine such as Bissell or rug doctor (clean wands only). Let dry in front of a fan.

Check the list of makers in the video description. There are dozens of talented people in there! Look them up on google or twitter and see if you like their style, ask for a quote, and go for it! Lyra is a great pony - I have one from Lanacraft and she is incredible
