Everyone should keep a copy of this video to show what an experienced homesteader has designed and built to butcher all the meat varieties. Homemade tools, systems and repurposed items along with modern tools/machines, collected and curated over a lifetime. Thanks for sharing!
Danny you amaze me! My husband who passed three years ago was a very smart man like you. He always thought ahead about things but we weren't into the big prepping scene then. We planted a variety of edibles, fruit trees, berries. We gardened and canned. Oh boy, do I miss him and his experience today. If only the younger generation knew 1/4 of what you know we might have hope for survival. God bless you for sharing your knowledge with us.
You are such an incredible, intelligent, blessed man, husband & father. Those close to you, i know have been blessed. Your father was wise when he told you to use your brain instead of your back & you have. You help so many with your words .Be blessed 🙌
I love how you think things through before you start building so you can have all your wants/needs covered. Even with you outgrowing this one, your mind is on what improvements you want to make.
So nice, an actual processing room. My husband does the big stuff outside, and I process the preserve it the rest of the way in my kitchen. Your room is absolutely amazing ❤
Definitely a good room for processing animals. Those are great ideas and I need to remember this because my wife and I have been praying God has a piece of property to purchase and build on.
Chicken dryer could use a cheap plastic chair upside down or the little table like that too. I put a drain in the quail shed and plastic walls to just presdure wash it all after removing things that don't need washing. Nice setup.
Having a place set up to do processing makes the jobs so much easier ….and fun !!! Nice job ! If you want an easy way to clean that sink, use Bar Keepers friend powder in the can. Wet the surface sprinkle powder on and rub around with a no scratch scrubbing sponge (blue), leave sit for a few minutes, scrub around again snd rinse…..it’s amazing !!!
I'm convinced all men are supposed to be like this. Danny is God's shining light for the gospel, plus a shining light of a real man. Brings me to tears.
That big meat slicer is a great thing to have! I cooked in restaraunts for years and that slices more than just meat! Cheese, tomatoes, head lettuce , and more! Wish I had one!
I love the idea of the magnet on the side there to hold your knives while working. Genius. There again, it is the first time I have seen a processing room lol.
Mr. Danny your so smart and inventive, feeling blessed that I found your channel so much knowledge God gifted you and blessed you wife a like-minded wife Miss Wanda God continually bless you and your family
Wow I’m impressed! That is a layout that anyone would love to have! Got to check my finances and see where I can add an addition on the shed! Lol! Thank you Mr Danny for sharing your setup. You and Ms Wanda have a blessed day!
Nice setup! No need for a multi-million dollar USDA inspected facility to have clean, healthy food. Read Joel Salatin's book titled "Everything I want to do is illegal" if processing your own meat is interesting to you.
Wow, looks like you have everything you need. Fantastic room. I watch all your videos this is something I've always wondered about how you were set up enlightening, great video.
Very thoughtfully put together, thorough. Do you not use a plucker? Those seem too big and maybe a little chaotic for your room there anyway. I like the boat winch. Some other butchering setups I’ve seen use pulleys and electric hoists, and they haven’t proved reliable. The hand crank appeals to me. Glad you explained the other sink, it gave me kind of a twinge when visible first pan around.
