    For such a young man you are definitely an inspiration to any other young person who would want to start his or her own business..You really seem very knowledgeable about car detailing and seem to have a great grasp on what it takes to run your own business. I live in Maryland and I would truly use your service if you were here. I’m about to get my car detailed for the first time, I have a 2014 Bmw 435i. After watching what you do I have great expectations for my car. Thank you for being such an inspiration and such a stand up guy

    I’ve been watching your vids for a couple of years now.
    I need to get accustomed to vacuuming and detailing the interior of my suv.
    I wash my suv every week, I washed it on Monday and I only rinsed it today, due to all the debris from the Fireworks.
    I’ll give her a good wash ( which I do every Saturday) and glaze and wax too.
    Need that’s extra pop

    Awesome inspiration to us detailers. Just make sure you take care of you man. Always eat a good breakfast and take food on the go in a big cooler to cut cost and time to find a place to eat. Just remember, all that work and cool set up won't mean jack if your not operating on all cylinders for you and your clients if it means you just needed to eat well for the day. Being sick of course is the exception.

    Hey mate if you see this grab yourself a pop up car tent to work under in the sun also good when washing dark coloured cars so the panels don't heat up and dry the car to quickly. Your attitude and professionalism is inspirational keep it up.

    I always start with inside, door jams, windows, door planel, dash/ console, then seats then carpet last. You wash top to bottom exterior so start top to bottom interior. Roll down windows to get every inch, get them mirrors in the flip downs/ blinders, also just for an lil extra lookout and maybe easy job turn on lights, check bulbs, notice an brake light/ headlight/reverse/ blinker whatever is out , let them know, ask if they cool you change it out , charge 30-40 for an 5-10 minute job, as long it's in your skill set. Pre led cars are usually easier- cheap bulb at box store.

    • @coryhaynes6716
      @coryhaynes6716 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@smartdetails yeah but I'm talking for the person willing to help out and change do basics , auto shop change headlight bulbs on some cars that are just an twist and pullout harness charge 40-50 and up. But yeah I've seen companies charge for both sides charged 65 and up on restoration alone, but yeah in Tampa FL they hustle hard out here seen an mobile mechanic/ detailer, he literally will clean engine bays after he works the car.

    • @smartdetails
      @smartdetails 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@coryhaynes6716 damn maybe I’m just lazy, but people were in from won’t allow you to up sale them on anything, I live in California where everyone rich until the bill comes😂

      It's just part of the game I have seen people pay more and willing to like $85+ for an express wash and vac, light wipe down interior, tire shine on an mini coop, where someone in bigger ford Taurus doesn't wanna pay even $50 but want plastics shiny, etc. It's crazy but when you get to an point you stand your ground on being a $100 an hr worker or not.

    The soap you use for your foam cannon does it leave some type of film after you foam it and rinse it ? I’m new to this foam cannon and trying to get the right soap to wash my vehicles. Soap o use now leaves a film residue untill I dry it by hand and even that be hard to remove that film off the car once dry .
