This is the Hutton Street level crossing at Thornbury, Victoria. It is located in northern Melbourne, on the Mernda line.
Both gated signals have Westinghouse Brake & Signal Co. bases, Westinghouse HB gate mechanisms with Artcraft gate lights and Westinghouse incandescent lights. The eastern signal has a General Signals Type 1 electronic bell which rings only until the gates have lowered, while the western signal has a loud tone General Signals Type 2 bell which rings until the gates rise. Both bells have since been replaced with General Signals Type 3 bells.
Both gate-less signals have unmarked bases and Westinghouse incandescent lights.
The rail motor seen in the video is 58RM running a heritage trip to Mernda and return, operated by DERMPAV.
    Filmed on April 10, 2022.
Filmed with Tazzie Transport / @tazzietransport

I’m not surprised to see them replace the e-bells here. That GS Type 1 e-bell sounded like it was on the way out in the first activation and the loud tone Type 2, good riddance. I’ll take a Type 3 GS e-bell any day over those “adjusted” Type 2s. BTW, nice catch with 58RM, certainly makes up for the X’trap spam you usually see on this line.
P.S. You can see the Preston Skyrail that was still under construction at the time at 16:50. Needless to say, it looks like 💩.

My main reason for filming here that day was to get something interesting with the rail motor, otherwise it's certainly boring in the train department. Lucky I did because the GS Type 1 was replaced not long after.

@@McKHAustI can tell. There were a number of black and white gates on this section of the line many years ago still, but they’re all gone now. BTW, I don’t know if you heard about this, but the teardrop bell at Nunn Street died recently, which isn’t good.

They’re loud tone (High Power) Type 2’s, not adjusted. I own one and the circuit board says HP (High Power) RXR Bell.

@@HybridBell I know, hence why I put “adjusted” in quotes.
