Hi Datta Groover, I have a couple of new and improved cables just around the corner. I expect to be doing a new movie demo in the next couple of weeks. Thanks for your comments. Bill
Hi, The cable has Oxygen-free copper cores and each core is shielded individually. Roland's cable does not have any of these features. Another bonus is a slightly lower noise floor, when using batteries to power a GK Hex pickup/preamp. There are not costs advantages using this cable either, the cable costs about £40 GBP to make. Did you see the movie all the way through??? Overall, the cable is total overkill for 99% of 13-Pin users, although the movie does show what's possible with extreme design. Finally, I think the Roland cable is ok, and just wish users would look after those delicate connectors. 13-pin dust covers are now available see www.vguitarforums.com/smf/index.php?topic=18487.0 Thanks, Bill
Hi, The latest on the multicore 13-pin cable is here th-cam.com/users/redirect?q=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.vguitarforums.com%2Fsmf%2Findex.php%3Ftopic%3D2915.0&v=yU7_gZzBHII&event=video_description&redir_token=G14EW-fzkhi5v3BM7T-w-TrjlG98MTU2ODU1NDY2MUAxNTY4NDY4MjYx
Hi, The cable is now a simple 13-pin multicore. The power supply is overkill, but the individual separate string screen are a major advantage over a simple Roland 13-pin cable. Cost is £60 GBP plus shipping. Probably not worth the trouble IMHO. Regards, Bill
Hi sdarktemplar, The cable including the battery power supply is £110.00GB plus shipping. The new version is quite a bit better with locking 13-pin plugs, and mini spiral wraps. The cable also comes with 13-Pin plug protectors. If you want to get a better look at the cable type, please visit the website. Thanks, Bill
You're quite right, it isn't on the site. You can view it here www.vguitarforums.com/smf/index.php?topic=2915.0 Have to say the cable is esoteric in nature. It's really mean't for the studio, as I can't imagine using it in a live situation.
Yes, the latest version is with locking 13-pin connectors. You are also right about the version shown at the link, it doesn't show a power supply. The cable is the same though, plus there is an added dual battery power supply.

Nice animations, but doesn't tell me much. Roland cable looks poor. What are the features and benefits, plus cost advantages of yours?
