the more u do it the more comfortable youll get with it. the thing that helped me the most is just staying calm and dont panic sprint, only sprint when necessary
Start out by practicing looping on deogens Play as normal, then once you have positive ID that the ghost is a deogen, grab a lighter and 2 smudge sticks, find a good looping spot, wait for it to hunt, then practice looping it If it starts to get too close, smudge, get to the other side of the table, couch, or whatever you're looping around, then continue looping
I understand what people meant when they said I will miss it when the ghost stops being scary. Being able to loop a supernatural entity like I'm playing Dead by Daylight removes much of the fear factor.
Absolutely But tbh, wanting to commit to a (horror)-game in which you do the same stuff every game just to understand it’s mechanics shows how good of a game it is I rarely am this invested in a horror game
I miss the horror factor a little bit but I really enjoy this as a deduction game and the fact that one misstep can end your run and lose a bunch of gear still keeps the tension high enough for me
i was actually just talking to a friend about this very subject and i have to say i second what someone else said, that the risks are still high in terms of losing your gear and dying. I think if anything actually its almost more intense playing on 0 evidence and 0 sanity, because the game doesnt tell you what ghost it is. you really have to listen and observe the ghost and its behavior. not only that but with these runs, if you die you get basically nothing and lose your stuff so its still high risk
I wish there was a friendly catch ghost mode, that regularly starts hunting, but if it catches you it doesn’t kill you, but helds you hostage for like 10 seconds, then let’s you go so you can practice hunts in customs
like in training mode where if it spots you, you just get the high priestess sound effect and the screen fades to black and then you spawn right were you last stood before you got killed
Hide and Seek Challenge: Have a friend play with you but they hide all your equipment. You have to find it all before you can use it. It's a Nuzzgard challenge.

Worth adding that, when it comes to a Jinn, it can accidentally trip the breaker by turning on one too many lights. So if you turn the breaker on again and the lights are on again, it's not a Jinn, but if all the lights are off, it could still be one.
Challenge idea for 10k special: Twitch chat guesses the ghost in three hunts! Where you poll chat at the end and see how they do. You could even do Maggstor VS Chat and see who gets more correct ghosts.
Big tip for people that are looping the ghost, try to be close to the table at all times and cut corners. Ghost always go a little further away from table when chasing you around it. I found out that you can also softlock ghost when he is double backing, if you're managing ur stamina well(This is weird to explain it looks like AI waits 0.5 seconds to calculate which way is faster to get to you. Im not sure about this but when looping Moroi on 0 sanity and hes full speed,you can hear fast footsteps but he is literally standing in place for 1 second)
I think a good way to start getting a feel for looping the ghost would actually be keeping your speed normal and just turning off the "lose items on death" setting. This would let people get a feel for how it is from the get go (except infinite sprint obviously but that can be turned off later as you get better) while also eliminating the risk of losing items if you end up dying. Also, I may have just started watching your videos but from what I've seen your content is super entertaining and informative. Thank you for always striving to help the newer players out there and big congrats on 10k subs!

I quit this game early after hitting lvl 1k+ that was before they even changed difficulty xp multipliers. This game changed a LOT i can't keep up with all the new ghost types so this is helping out. Idk if u mentioned this but one tip i can share is u can spam camera shots for easy ghost photos by quickly rotating throught ur items (unless they changed it). Works with Tier 2 cam, doesn't work with Tier 1 idk about Tier 3 i can't test it since i barely played after the big patch. I used to do this all the time sometimes even with 2 cameras snap > Q > snap > Q > Q > repeat
im so horrible at looping and only feel confident doing it with a deo. im so uncoordinated and not good at using the side to side keys so i always just press w and look forward and hope the ghost doesnt double back. watching this has given me some really good pointers i cant wait to try!

A big thank you, Queen of Looping, for another amazing video! How about a 150X speed ghost & you @ 50% speed. Start at 100% sanity, but you have to correctly identify the ghost type & get out alive in every map, using only starter equipment.
This sounds similar to a challenge idea that I had, basically you have starter items only, no sprint, no sanity, and 5:00 of setup time. Interaction rate would be set to high and the ghost would basically be as hard as possible in terms of hunting. There would be no hiding spots either. You would have to get in, figure out the ghost before the 5:00 is up, and get out. If you don't make it out before the 5:00 is up you are basically guaranteed to die.
Woop woop congrats on 10k maggstor! my challenge idea is quite a boring one, but try using only the starter items as a level 0 challenge, i have no idea whats possible but i know ur a really good phasmo player so you could do starter items only 0 sanity maybe, or starter only 0 evidence or something fun like that
Happy 10K!! I'm a big fan of a good skeptic game! Try to remain a skeptic the during the whole investigation, come up with excuses for why things are happening, why stuff is flying, why doors are opening, etc. Not really a "challenge" necessarily, but still fun lol!

very good video. i really feel like instant hunt strategy is the best way to play no evidence, otherwise youre just losing time if its an actually hunt-identifyable ghost
i also feel like its the best way to play phasmo if you have more than a few hours in the game since personally i cant see how someone would prefer just sitting in one spot every hunt lol (no offense to them ofcourse, i respect every way people want to experience the game)

You easily earned a sub from me! I made a quizlet flashcard set of all the ghosts and their abilities to help me learn them. You told me so many new things I have not heard before from your ghost abilities video and I’m slowly but surely becoming less timid of the hunts starting, especially after watching this one!
If you do this for xp, you could also add two more ghosts to the mix if you set the timer up for smudge. If it's a normal speed and hunts between 60 seconds and 90 seconds from the smudge it's a demon but if it hunts after 180 seconds it's probably a spirit.
Thing about the Mist/Airball event is if the ghost manifests in physical form for the event, it can still be an Oni. Do not rely on the sound alone, and always check if the ghost manifested as mist or in physical form.
Maggstor, I love your videos. I do want to see another burger farm series though, idc if its repeat 😂 but I do have a question IF you see this. First thank you for being awesome and entertaining, congrats on the 10k subs! But my question is about hiding. When i hide in a closet i shut both doors and turn off or drop all equipment but it still tries opening the doors, why do you only shut one door and it doesnt try to open it or even walk through the open door?
sadly burger farm is only a one time thing :( but I'd be down to play other horror games like it :D So when hiding you actually only have to hold the door shut that you're hiding behind. When ghosts walk by your hiding spot they typically try to open closet doors. Sometimes they'll "force" open the door even if you're holding it if 1. they saw you hide there or 2. you hid without them seeing you but maybe turned off your equipment too late so they still detected you in that location or 3. maybe you have voice activation on and breathed into the mic so the ghost hears you

I love the Insym-photo-challenge You basically start with no equipment except the camera (and a flashlight perhaps) every photo-type you take (interaction, ghost, etc) you get one equipment type He made it randomly tho with a wheel of fortune
Challenge 1 - Thief simulator challenge : you start with only a candle, and you have to steal electronics from the house to unlock your items. Rules : Laptops are worth 2, everything else is worth 1. When you unlock smudge sticks or candles, you automatically unlock lighter with it. Electronics must be brought into the truck to count Roll a dice or a wheel to unlock items randomly - you can reroll if you draw an item that is already unlocked Challenge 2 - Paparazzi challenge : start with only a flashlight and a camera. Unlock items by capturing activity on camera. Rules : Every 3 star photo unlocks 1 item, 2 items for ghost and dirty water photos Limit 3 photos of the same thing (footstep, interaction) Items are unlocked randomly, use a dice or a wheel, reroll duplicates Start at 0 sanity, pills are allowed
Just recently started doing x10 speedruns. This guide clarified a lot of stuff for me! Great vid. Unfortunately, I go in with a photocamera, and I noticed that Raijus don't speed up if you hold a photo camera in your hand. Is that a bug or did they make it that way?

TIP: If you have salt, you can place it down and if the ghost walks through it, but it doesn't leave a footprint, it is a wraith

I have been playing for a while but i have never attempted to loop the ghost, hopefully i can now give it a go
You easily earned a sub from me! I made a quizlet flashcard set of all the ghosts and their abilities to help me learn them. You told me so many new things I have not heard before from your ghost abilities video and I’m slowly but surely becoming less timid of the hunts starting, especially after watching this one!

My biggest problem with looping is that sometimes the ghost becomes visible only when its so close to me that I have no time to react.
sometimes audio cues can help with that :)

If you do this for xp, you could also add two more ghosts to the mix if you set the timer up for smudge. If it's a normal speed and hunts between 60 seconds and 90 seconds from the smudge it's a demon but if it hunts after 180 seconds it's probably a spirit.
Thing about the Mist/Airball event is if the ghost manifests in physical form for the event, it can still be an Oni. Do not rely on the sound alone, and always check if the ghost manifested as mist or in physical form.

Maggstor, I love your videos. I do want to see another burger farm series though, idc if its repeat 😂 but I do have a question IF you see this. First thank you for being awesome and entertaining, congrats on the 10k subs! But my question is about hiding. When i hide in a closet i shut both doors and turn off or drop all equipment but it still tries opening the doors, why do you only shut one door and it doesnt try to open it or even walk through the open door?
sadly burger farm is only a one time thing :( but I'd be down to play other horror games like it :D
So when hiding you actually only have to hold the door shut that you're hiding behind. When ghosts walk by your hiding spot they typically try to open closet doors. Sometimes they'll "force" open the door even if you're holding it if 1. they saw you hide there or 2. you hid without them seeing you but maybe turned off your equipment too late so they still detected you in that location or 3. maybe you have voice activation on and breathed into the mic so the ghost hears you

When the smudge starts to take effect on ghost? When lit or when it stops burning? I'm trying to figure out when I should start to count those 6/12 seconds 😉 BTW - I have found your channel very recently and I absolutely love it from day one. Keep up the good work! 👍

@@Maggstor Many thanks🙂 I know that smudge stick burning time is 6 seconds and I was wondering if it can be used as a reference to determine the ghost type. I suppose smudstick burning end is the moment when we should start counting the time to next hunt (to determine/exclude demon and spirit)?
Put a giant black window covering 70% of the screen forcing you to use your peripherals (Peripheral challenge).

@@actuaIIystfu when hiding in a closet, you only have to shut and hold closed the door you’re hiding behind. The other door can stay open and you’re totally safe :)

When you’re hiding there should you crouch or stand? Does it matter either way?
The way I describe Jinn is that it is a Walmart Revenant (with breaker on and the fact that it gets a speed charge upon LOS)

You basically start with no equipment except the camera (and a flashlight perhaps)
every photo-type you take (interaction, ghost, etc) you get one equipment type
He made it randomly tho with a wheel of fortune

Challenge 1 - Thief simulator challenge : you start with only a candle, and you have to steal electronics from the house to unlock your items.
Rules :
Laptops are worth 2, everything else is worth 1.
When you unlock smudge sticks or candles, you automatically unlock lighter with it.
Electronics must be brought into the truck to count
Roll a dice or a wheel to unlock items randomly - you can reroll if you draw an item that is already unlocked
Challenge 2 - Paparazzi challenge : start with only a flashlight and a camera. Unlock items by capturing activity on camera. Rules :
Every 3 star photo unlocks 1 item, 2 items for ghost and dirty water photos
Limit 3 photos of the same thing (footstep, interaction)
Items are unlocked randomly, use a dice or a wheel, reroll duplicates
Start at 0 sanity, pills are allowed

Just recently started doing x10 speedruns. This guide clarified a lot of stuff for me! Great vid. Unfortunately, I go in with a photocamera, and I noticed that Raijus don't speed up if you hold a photo camera in your hand. Is that a bug or did they make it that way?
hmm maybe raiju has to be closer to a pic cam to speed up as opposed to a flashlight? if only you had 4 hands to bring in a flashlight and camera xD
@@Maggstor As soon as I drop the camera it speeds up like normal. But doesn't work in hand. Posted a bug report, but haven't had a response so far.
