Wonderful recap of episode. This is my favorite episode so far, from Nathan and Amy's relationship development to Jack and Tim's debut at rodeo announcing, I thoroughly enjoyed Heartland at its best!!!
The real success of Heartland was and still is the Amy and Ty love story. The dating in the season 18 trailer and the current episodes especially Amy's relationship with Nathan is simply the writers attempt to keep the storyline interesting, and not boring.Assuming Ty doesn't return the writers will conclude the series with Amy unable to accept another(not just because Ty can't be replaced} because of her continuing strong love and feelings for Ty. She will conclude that her peace and happiness is with her as a single mother raising Lindy in the manner Ty would have wanted. In my opinion, because we had 14 years of this remarkable love story, whereby the viewers got to intimately know Ty, it makes it nearly impossible to erase him from the viewers minds and on a larger scale future Heartland seasons. It's a testament toTy's impact on the series, in that he still remains the topic of much fan discussion and love even though he has been missing for over 4 years.
Great interview with NEW cast member actor Spencer Lord, joining Heartland series in S17 as Nathan Pryce. The Heartland writes and executive producers of the Heartland series have done an outstanding job in the timing of bringing him in, the pace he and Amy seems a natural coming together, where she’s has accepted Ty death, and her grief has subsided to point finding friendship with someone else is okay. In Episode 1 of season 14 “killed Off” the ex-rancher, turned veterinarian character doctor Tyler “Ty” Borden (played by Graham Wardle) permanently, after a snapper shooting in S13 finale episode, and tragically passes away in opening sene E1, S14… young troubled Ty met the talented horse trainer Amy Fleming at 15 y/o after loosing her mother, the horse Whisper Marion Fleming. As teens Amy and Ty became friends, worked together with the horses as ranch hands on the 600 Heartland acreage, owned by grandpa Jack Bartlett, both Amy and sister Lou Fleming Morris strong willed grandpa💖... In storyline saga Ty and Amy fell in love, along with breakups, always finding their way way back to each other, get engaged 💍 married, had daughter Lyndy Marion, worked as business partners at HL, throughout the series ups and downs this pair was the “it factor” for majority of HL fans, fanatics too😂 of this fictional saga story, now with NEW characters coming and going’s since departure of numerous well love characters (Mallory, Jake, Georgie, Ashley, Val Staton, mean girl Olivia, Scott, Adam…) and really like highly favorite “Ty” character, played by Graham Wardle have moved on, hopefully to bigger better fulfillment in their careers🤩 Here in S17 the intro of Nathan Pryce… now in S18 with NEW characters Nathan, who’s won Amy’s heart, he is the “long wolf” both handsome and kind, but full of mystery, but he’s been deeply hurt by a failed marriage, there lies a connection between he and Amy, bcuz of sudden tragic loss of her husband. Nathan is just perfect for widowed Amy Fleming Borden and cutie Lyndy Marion Borden, so authentically beautiful NEW beginnings for Nathan Pryce, Amy and young daughter Lyndy. And I can see a strong bond will form by this simple act of Nathan, like including her Amy’s daughter, by asking Lyndy “what’s your mom favorite food” her face lite Up!💡And Lyndy is the only seal of APPROVAL for her mom Amy needs, with a NEW family life with rancher Nathan Pryce❤️👧🏼 🥰 🐴
I will commit to watching at least until the end of season 18, but im not sure i will be watching past that. I am finding this season pretty boring. Nathan character is pretty unremarkable, and he pulls Amy character down with him. Im not asking for the return of Ty, but we need someone better than this for Amy, or she needs to be single.
I can't see the new season yet due to living in America but watching them put amy with Nathan Nathan really doesn't make me happy at all!! This is why I watc seasons 1-13 because ty is in it i really miss ty and Amy's love story! Id rather see her Caleb than Nathan!
GOOD BY HEARTLAND No TY BACK To HEARTLAND NO HEARTLAND AMY is becoming nothing like Heartland Show is stupid love interest in talk about marriage to to Caleb or Nathan is just the end of the show. Best fans do not plan on watching Heartland anymore if these love interests that are being proposed that are showing up on Heartland to me and the rest of these the fans Harlan might as well just stop and just end if Heartland is going to continue Amy needs to be more of a mother than a love interest mentality a cheap soap opera star to us the fans Heartland is over if this is the case get rid of all the love interests it's coming to Amy and Heartland yes just destroyed the show we will go to things like Yellowstone and other shows that aren't conflicted as much Amy should be a mother like her mother and get rid of all the stupid love interests the writers are destroying the show as far as this fans are concerned Heartland is dying or is dead just that simple goodbye Heartland looking forward to watching other shows if this is the case goodbye Heartland!!!!!!!!!!!!!...???!!!!????!!!

Que cafreria tienen los escritores en heartland estos días. No se parece a la historia linda que había.
I absolutely love Nathan and Amy together! Work vetu well together. Great pair!
This season is amazing. Story lines are amazing, fans can relate in " real life " Good job writers, producers, actors etc.
I'm loving it too!
How can we see the episodes from other countries. I'm a digital nomad.

Good Bye, the sooner you leave with your negative comments the better for the rest of the fans, Heartland, actors, etc.
Please stop, sounds absolutely ridiculous.🙃🤐
Amy keep away from Nathan the snake and caleb not the man for you . Jack and Tim put your foot down on amy so keep away from them two man .
Your storytelling did not sync up with the pictures at all. Terrible.
I love Amy and Nathan together. I’ll always miss Ty however Amy deserves someone in her corner.
