What if the severance ending is what led to Porky taking over the Nowhere Islands? Basically, Giegue separates from Giygas, only leaving a bit of a residual personality influence (Hence, Giygas being an 'almighty idiot', being an energy field manipulated by a rudimentary negative consciousness that still has a bit of a residual personality), making Porky step in as the planner of the invasion, and around Twoson, Giygas and Porky began to merge into the same being, but by the time the Chosen Four reach Giygas, the merger is 99.9% complete, only requiring a dissolution of the residual energy to complete the merger and turn Porky into the ruler of the Nowhere Islands.
I think Porky was just... going to end up doing that anyways, but the Severance ending DOES seem the most like how the actual canon went... and it's a good ending for Giegue.
The Paradox ending is even more horrifying than it seems at first. It's not even entirely clear what the Applechasers are trying to do here. Are you trying to pull young Giegue out like in the Severance ending? Are You trying to kill the last vestiges of good inside Giygas? Either way it isn't actually you that kills off young Giegue. In fact, you can hardly even damage them. Who ends up killing Giegue? Giygas does. Congratulations, you just help a universe destroying abomination eliminate what little might have been holding it back. Good job heroes.
You know how, in the good ending, Niiue and Geigue say that they created an alternate timeline in which Giygas never rises to power? What if the result of that was Niiue remembering Maria's lullaby and singing it to the transcended Geigue/pre-Giygas, causing the paradox ending? Because a paradox timeline is exactly what the actions of Niiue and Geigue would imply, since Giygas never rising to power would violate the prediction made by the Apple of Enlightenment.
From what I can deduce, when you sing to Giegue in his transcendental form, it causes him to disintegrate and recede further into his magicant, appearing as an entrance within the devil's machine, like pouring salt into a wound. And upon entering the door hiding Giegue's biggest trauma you're presented with 4 chaotic manifestations of 4 diminuitive and lowly earth children (can't remember T's age), ones that were so insignificant that a cosmic destroyer such as Giegue should have tossed them aside. The overwhelming regret, self loathing and hatred manifests as the swirls and what remains of Giegue is a tiny infant, completely defenseless and unaware of what lies ahead. Despite being indestructible his own power kills him completely instead of turning him into the mass of energy he would have become as Giygas, vanishing from all sensors and locations. As a result, the events in motion that set the whole game cease to exist, the history that was to be followed is erased, and coupled with all the power Giegue amassed, causes reality to fold in on itself in within the Magicant manifested. However its unknown if the event is just Magicant or in fact the whole universe that will disintegrate. That's pretty much it from what I could guess.
Are you thinking of the big door in the mothership? You need to return to the ship after defeating Master Magnolia and use the fifth reboot orb on the computer controlling the door.
I managed to get the Severance Ending without the Ballpeen hammer. I had missed the insignificant item in my first playthrough because I was panicking during the spaceship escape and forgot to save before...
I didn't even know how to GET the Ballpeen hammer and I beat the Severance ending. Oh, and I also did it again not long after... While putting a certain code into a certain robot, and getting several fuzzy frogs from "The Game Developer" as a Mr. Saturn. Yes, I used the Borange Ray during my Hard Mode escapade but beating Fobbyiyg and getting the overall best weapon in the game is just fun.
I manage to get the severance ending without the ballpeen hammer .I just need the borange ray and Niiue's inexplitcable jolt, which is very efficient against giygas. Also,Larice have to spent his pp casting reflect everytime .
Severance and Paradox endings usually make the player get the most power they can possible... And while I don't use the Ballpeen hammer either, I DO give myself everything else I'd ever need. 8 Love, Borange Ray, Psi Herbs from Pluto, Empower (but only Empower because who else is going to use a Knowledge Stone effectively except Zarbol), Bolster (It's almost necessary for Fobbyiyg though afterwards it kind of outlives it's use), all the ship upgrades, Fire Omega (from Venus), Freeze Omega (from Pluto), Zarbol Lifeup, even stuff as small as saving PP for tougher enemies. 28:39 So I was looking for something, and I'm surprised you put the Borange Ray on Allinivar. It kind of makes him viable for damage, yes, but with exception of the escape sequence he doesn't really need to do damage. I _always_ put it in Col. Saturn, myself. Then, with the Hand Cannon, that's the highest possible melee damage for Col. Saturn, without Flashblaster obviously (which is same Strength as Hand Cannon). Zarbol has a Go First weapon already with the Crazy Beam, Allinivar has Healing stuff to do, and Larice already gets the Chrono-ray to increase his good stats and inflict status effects.

can someone explain the paradox ending to me?

*Stop Existing. Why Do You Exist?*

I remember there being a secret door somewhere in space or something and it was related to the severance ending somehow. I never could get it open.
Are you thinking of the big door in the mothership? You need to return to the ship after defeating Master Magnolia and use the fifth reboot orb on the computer controlling the door.
Severance and good ending are both my favorite out of all.
Did you know that the cow/joke ending is a reference to the ending of Earthworm Jim 2?
Let's make this famous. Now.
I managed to get the Severance Ending without the Ballpeen hammer.

Same thing! I simply spammed Borange Ray and Nightmare Empower
I have not played the game, but i reached it for the story

Borange Ray turns Giygas into "That was 40 thousand damage already?" which is funny to me.
Severance ending is my favorite, followed by the bad ending.
I think the severance ending is best
What I find funny about all this is that Geigue tried to abandon his conscience, and it ended up literally following him around.
