Please don't criticize this amazing band for who's live in the show on a given day. Whitecross was a huge influence in my teen years and I would have driven many hundreds of miles to watch this show. Just focus on how blessed we are that they're still playing. I'm going to start watching for the opportunity to see them. Another thought - Rex and Michael can shred like they put out High Gear yesterday but it's not possible for anyone to do vocals like they're still 25. If Whitecross put out a CD where Scotty did all the BGVs and a young guy stepped in to shred the lead, I'd be all over that. HUGE THANKS to David Roberts that this band is still on a stage!
Worth it just to hear Rex Carroll play guitar. Back in the day I was chatting with a friend that wanted to introduce me to White Metal. I told him I had nothing against it, but hadn't heard any Christian bands with a shredder like EVH. He handed me the first Whitecross album, and I took it home and gave it a spin. I was hooked. Bought my own copy the very next day. Love Whitecross and the debut is still one of my all time classic metal favorites. They did sound a bit like Ratt, but Ratt's lead guitar only wishes he played like Carroll. He truly is one of the top axemen of his era, and it isn't properly recognized beyond the Christian metal genre. Folks don't know what they are missing.
One of the greatest bands of this style. OMG the tone of that guitar. They are so good. Unreal. Im glad they're still slamming it. Used to jam on it for years in the 80s and 90s. Badass band!

Scott Wenzel was Whitecross. But the years pass . Scott became older , and probably wasn't able to do his magic on the stage anymore. I will never forget him. I love Scott Wenzel, God Bless Scott indeed.

Fire the sound man, dang nabbit the vocals were to low the whole dang song and everyone new it except him, I prefer your voice dude, Scott was a good preformer but I didn't really care for his voice, good choice by whitecross, just need alittle spark on stage from being comfortable and then Whitecross 2.0
Note: if you are in a band, make sure you have your own sound guy. They sounded great, but the mix is terrible. Ex-musicians make the best sound people. It's just common sense: the lead solo should be louder than the drums.
This guy needs to memories the lyrics. Reading the words off an iPad is lame. I get he’s new but objective #1 is to learn the songs before you start performing.
Bands just morph over time. Personalities can clash, egos are strained, all kinds of situations come up that can't be altered. It is not Whitecross, it is Whitecross 2.0 Don't be rude, the only one not here is Scott, everybody else is Whitecross through and through.
