We all need to ensure proper protein moisture balance which should be a non-issue with a good regimen which should include cleansing your coils and scalp regularly and thoroughly with something other than co-wash.
I keep reading that deep conditioners and masks/masques aren’t the same. That mask/masque “conceals damage, weakness, and other inconsistencies regarding the integrity of the hair” while deep conditioners “improves the current condition of the hair” (google words) sooooo after not getting be able to get perms in so long due to COVID I realize my roots become curly/wavy when wet or moisturizer with and conditioner or hair lotion. But everything on down is just straight and bleh. I’m thinking I may just have curly/wavy hair. I get perms so much that I haven’t seen my natural since probably 9-10 yrs old.. I’m 22.. (not my fault blade moms). Anywhooo. Are they the same? I would like to transition to my roots now. Do I deep condition or use a hair mask are they the same or no? (For the Camille Rose Algae Renew Deep Conditioner) I’m protein sensitive/low porosity but I am *not* allergic to Aloe Vera (I use Rizos Curls and most of their products contain the ingredient). Would this deep conditioner still work for me?
It doesn't contain a HIGH amount of protein, so I feel you should be ok to use it! The only way to find out is to test it on your hair and see how it reacts. I honestly think you should be okay, but everyone is different.. If you try it, let me know how it goes! ❤️
