You listen to Real Students of Knowledge and Shaykhs like Abu Khadeejah who give you ayaat, ahadith, aathaar, scholarly explanations based upon the understanding of the salaf whereas Celebrity fake "shaykhs" like Menk just give you general motivational goodwill speeches that lack substance bcuz there is a lack of narrations that are given which is upon the understanding of salaf, so you really end up taking little benefit except for a few moments, this is why those upon innovated methodologies you can't really seek knowledge from cuz they have nothing in reality.
May Allah protect our brothers at maktabah as salafiyyah. May Allah guide us on the straight path. May Allah reward our brothers upon salafiyyah all over and let us benefit from the knowledge that Allah has bestowed upon us. May Allah safeguard us from evil and enmity towards our blessed deen of Al Islam. Allahummah Ameen
There are some people in some south asian countries who go to remote places like Kamrup (a rural administrative district in the state of Assam in India) or Nagaland (a mountainous state in northeast India, bordering Myanmar) and others to learn magic from the tantriks/Aghoris (Magic teachers) and then earn money from the people saying that they can help them by giving them children or separate husband and wife or unite them etc. (nau'dhubillah) and these people believe in these tantriks and fall into their traps. There are posters of these tantriks sticking on the walls and public transports all over the cities in these countries. I have seen a tantrik whose name is "Islam" on one of these posters. May Allah save us all muslims from all forms of Shirk and Kufr, ameen.
Ashraf Ali Thanwi allowed magic in situations in his book and even taught it in Remedies from The Holy Qur'an. Tabligh Jammat followers love him, likewise soofee praise him. Most of them are ignorabt of what he taught. I have seen the extracts from his kitaab myself. Astaghfirullah.
simple correction in minutes 17:27. the verse is not (wa aswiyyuhum ) radha wa aswiyyuhum. with kasra not with fat-haa the verse is قَالَ بَلْ أَلْقُوا ۖ فَإِذَا حِبَالُهُمْ وَعِصِيُّهُمْ يُخَيَّلُ إِلَيْهِ مِن سِحْرِهِمْ أَنَّهَا تَسْعَىٰ [Taa-Haa : 66
Allahu Alam. But I once had a job where I went into mental hospitals to provide eye care services for the patients. We were a muslim company in the sense that most of the people including the owners were Muslim. I can remeber reciting Qur'an walking through amongst patients that were pshychotic thinking the same thing you juat said. I do wonder about that Allahu alam

In the ayah that he recited from Suratul Bakarah, he made a mistake by interchanging "منهما"with "منها"
That's right he did make that mistake. But he corrected himself at 21:40. Do listen. Allah preserve him.
