Don’t find it strange that the Ustaadh speaks this way, because the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم himself would speak in a clear and understandable way. Upon the authority of Aisha (May Allah be pleased with her) who narrates: “The Prophet Muhammad (May Allah exalt his mention and grant him peace) used to speak such that if someone were to count the words, he could do so (ie. he would speak slowly and clearly). [Sahih Bukhari]
