For me, just my opinion, this season of the CFL, especially the way the Argo's and Winnipeg's have been playing, its been exciting to watch. Reminds me of the early to mid 1970's CFL. Yeah, I know... I was in high school then. Dave Raimey, Bill Symons, Jim Corrigal, Zenon Andresysion(?), Joe Theisman, Jim Stillwagon... hahahah Leon McQuay, Anthony Davis..... OMG, yes, that era of Argo's very exciting teams East and West...
Game of the year. I had this game marked on my calendar. This was the measuring stick for the Argos. The only game on the schedule. And they sit Chad Kelly. I was disappointed beyond disappointment. This will cost the Argos the Grey Cup in November.
They didn't even sit out that many players. The only one they sat that mattered was Kelly. I didn't look it up but have read in comments Arrghos only sat 4 starters which were replaced by pretty decent players. The Arrghos lost and it wouldn't have mattered if those 3 or 4 players missing were playing or sitting. Give credit to the Blue...they whooped the Arrghos fair ad square.
only salty toronto fans and some winnipeg fans think this game had any meaning to either team was a nothing game for both, still the better team won in the end.
@@ryanfriesen4366 ok well tbf i'm a winnipeg fan but it was definitely important for us, we still need to win the west to get a bye into the west final, so it definitely has some importance.
@@mikemitchell5867 interesting, literally just looked at the depth chart and they sat two starters, one of which was Kelly... appreciate your desire to spread misinformation but it's really not that hard to figure out just how wrong you are
@@scottknightwsp The Argos were without nine starters, most due to injury. Beyond Kelly, and Shawn Oakman who sat out, and the fact that Ouellette only had three touches and sat. Toronto was also without Kurleigh Gittens Jr., Cam Phillips, Robertson Daniel, DaShaun Amos, Jamal Peters, Wynton McManis and Isiah Cage.. 9 my friend. FACTS
This showed me Toronto will struggle to win if Kelly gets hurts. Bombers dominated the stats by double on almost everything. More rushing more passing more everything. This game was closer than it ever should have been. If not for a couple flukey turnovers and an injury to league leader in interceptions Houston Argos got lucky. The Argos cant win without Kelly and thats a problem.

70s sucked, it was the 80s and 60s and late 50s that were best
I noticed a change on the Winnipeg helmet design. Was this an alternate design? I was curious if someone can update me. Thank you!
In honour of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. I believe it was the same logo as last year.
@@warrenotto27 Many thanks!
In the Famous words of Former CJOb Broadcaster “it was not a Pacasso” but the win is what counts!
Considering the people resting and mindset of Toronto... That was not a great win. But a win is a win. Go Blue
winnipeg owned them all over the field stats wise.
@@ryanfriesen4366the argos where resting players for the playoffs.
@@ytdartconsumer4277So were the bombers.. Started their minor league roster and still man handled em.
GO BLUE GO 1
#20 MOP ?
with all the players sitting out this one from TO, this year's Grey Cup is gonna be Toronto and BC
Bc 😂lmao sure bud
bc coudlnt beat toronto, winnipeg beat them easily, its gonnabe winnipeg and montreal.
Absolutely man handled them. Surprised toronto stayed in the CFL.

Dear, you are way too young for me!
you would be totally disgusted,
I am old enough to be your grandfather😢 😮
DML.
Sitting players does not work. Ask the 2009 Indianapolis Colts.
Better team won.

Argos sat nine starters. Pulled AJ Ouellette after two touches and a touchdown

Toronto lost in the playoffs because Kelly picked that game to play his worst game as a starter..... nine turnovers....
