What cheap laptop would you recommend for installing pfsense on? Would you mind looking for one on ebay ( UK ) if you have a couple minutes of free time. Thank you for your videos.

I don't recommend anything unless I've used it myself
And the last thing I'd want is for you to buy something only for it not to work
I used to use mini computers I'd built myself although lately I've been using protectli vault computers

Why not just deleting those 2 rules at the bottom. If you block any/any you don't need the rule at all.

I like to be specific for IPv4 and IPv6
IPv6 is rarely being used so I shouldn't really see anything from it
I have one rule to catch and log that, but it also provides a hit counter
IPv6 tends to be enabled by default on computers so it should be easy to spot a new computer being added to the network as it will be disabled on existing computer
Not all firewalls block everything implicitly and I prefer to make sure they do
So I have a rule for IPv4 as well to make sure I get any logs but also hits on the counter
