When I was out on roadtrips when young I would imagine the large transmission poles to be monsters while the smaller poles and street lights to be soldiers helping me fight in a high speed high stakes global battle. This really brought me back!
Same. I wasn't allowed to go outside so I spent most of the time looking out the window, and i'd imagine the poles were like some giant aliens that fell on earth, they were like hibernating or smth and would wake up one day
Oh my lord, SAME! That's almost the same as mine! I imagined a Building fighting this one Giant Transmission pole in a 1v1 fight, thinking that the building is Humanity's Last Mech and the Pole being a Junji Ito Kaiju Monster of some sort. Man i miss going on Long Trips. There's just something so Uncanny and Surreal with Giant Poles like that, just has that menacing vibe to them.
good god, that's literally the same thing i did as well, it's fun to let your imagination go crazy and do a battle with big stuff you probably don't even know does what
The Metaroom discography is now 20 songs. Thank you for keeping the playlist updated. I love all 20 songs. Hello to anyone reaching the end of the playlist or listening for the first time.
Based on the visuals, METAROOM had depicted how we view electricity or the internet as a god based on it angler's wings, the strength of the sun (Aztecs), & the flowers (everything having life: Aztecs). Not only that, people had lived their lives based on religion, like how we live our lives based on electricity & the internet. Another thing to note is that the song includes "nyans" or "meows" like the correlation that cats have in the internet. Not only that, their is a childish voice in it, which may represent the endless amount of kids in the internet. In the tone of the music as grand or buetiful, but mysterious, which is quite similar to the early internet since people used as a output of creativity, but you never knew what you were gonna get. Finally, it mentions what sounds like a dad & his child is how intimidating the internet can be, which can be the case due to the dark web, but if carefull we can find art, similar how we can climb the tallest and deadliest mountain in the world to see the best view of the world.
GOD do I love this description of the song, love to see correlation being brought up from elements in a song, viewing the internet as a god is honestly not too farfetched, so much of our lives are on it
yeah, these songs never fully click w me until they're paired with the visuals; Mafti's the only one who can keep up with the hecktic beats n put a vibe to them~
This is peak AESTHETICS, the way the music screams and echoes in your head and the way it rotates around a pylon angel with a vhs filter is freaking fantastic
@@6Romaner6 Based on a few previews from Insta stories and the things he's been saying about it on Twitter, I have a feeling you are going to like the next album very much
This, THIS feels boundary pushing. Freddi n Mafti always somehow manage to pull a cohesive thru-line out of all this chaos n energy. super catchy. definitely going into the summer playlist alongside Underworld's Juanita 2022
This song has become my most listened song of all the things ive listened to in the past 6 months and it hasnt even been up that long. tis a vibe. It also used to to visualize things in my head with my characters and such.
This is hands down one of my favorite songs ever. The combination of the spinning ethereal beast crudely drawn onto a telephone wire rotating at like 15 frames per second. The gorgeous combination of chaos music that METAROOM always puts forth. The beautiful culmination of a song that almost sounds like a child’s imagination running wild through and endless car ride. Reminds me of something I’d draw as a kid and share with my parents only to get a supportive answer that perfectly hides their confusion to my childlike mind. It’s a perfected piece of musical media that I find hard to share with others but honestly that’s okay. Sometimes it doesn’t matter if no one else understands it as long as you like it that’s ok. That’s what this means to me it means everything to me.
I’m so fucking happy you guys are getting attention. Not just from your ENA work but your own projects. I’ve been a fan of your work for years and it never stops inspiring me
i love how you just change of mood in your songs. one is exciting with flashing lights and this one is just so relaxing but intriguing at the same time, that amazing
Why do I have this feeling that this bit music tells a story. At first is like like something refreshing but reveals bad things then memories that wished to forget but never will never stop telling then it breaks in to sadness and lost but hears a call like saying there still hope then tries to rise up to reach after someone who wishes to protect before the time runs out reach it’s end if it doesn’t make it but in the end it got saved and made happy memories. It Makes no sense but at least that Is what I felt. It’s more like a family that got torn apart but then got back together only that you lose some one and you stick with what you have.
Nice interpretation. You have more of a human way of interpreting it, when comparing to my apathetic observance of it. I find it confusing, yet engaging, just like real life, if you understand what I'm saying.
I'll repeat it here as well, nice track. Got all the waves smoothed out, for the 808's and stuff. Of course the sound design is all funky and nicely shit, keep it up mate!
This was actually the first time I made it in chat Premiere for a released song by METAROOM (specifically because I discovered his music about a month or 2 ago). I really liked the vocal chop bits, and this background here is neat too. :)
This song was such a vibe when listening to it on our trip to Washington really late at night with no other cars around driving through a vast sandy field with all kinds of red transmission tower lights around
this is too good, it makes me feel like im in another plane of existance the visuals are so cool and beautiful, and so on point with the vibes of the music
I'm told i look like a grown was man yet the sound coming from my mouth is the scream of a small child. Look what promising a new album has done to me. Thanx. Xoxo can't wait
METAROOM, I have been a fan since early 2021. I must say that I’m so proud of you, for how good your music is and that you keep going and getting better and better every day it’s amazing! I love you keep it up you are absolutely insane!💕🤘🫰✨
geez as always every new song is a hit and vibe with me, one of these days i wanna either make music in your style or all mashy and mixed in different ways
Sooo you literaly make this cable electro thing that i never know the name a humanoid kinda being? thats pretty creative! I have hige hopes from the next album!
I hate to be gushing like this but damn, you're amazing at what you do! This sounds really stupid and pretentious but your stuff has really managed to describe without words how I've been feeling for years. All the ups and downs, all the intensity, all the confusion and chaos all at once and I've never felt that connection with music before. You're my favorite producer for that very reason and I love all of your tunes and this one is an absolute banger! Keep it up, you're great!

I'd imagine the lamps and poles were robot soldiers working together to fight huge elemental giants. The giants were based off the area I was in.
Gotye kinda did that in his music video he also is in a band called the basics now
love the visuals
love ya presence on this side of the internet, had memed to death / life on my old mp3 players
holy shit cyranek moment?
kings respecting kings
fr its like bunch of camera frames kinda like matrix but with like vintage cams

Hi!
not including his remixes, it’d be 21. he has made a song called “underwater” which not many people know about, but it’s pretty underrated.

Starting to think metaroom is sneaking biblically accurate angels around for us to categorize

Feeling a lot of Iglooghost on this one, specially the _vocals._ Great work, as usual.
Iglooghost with amenbreaks and acid? Sign me up!
@@6Romaner6 a lot of Iglooghost songs are like this, specially their earlier material. Xiangjiao is a great example of this.
