So many memories of my early teenage years. Listening to the Behaviour CD in bed while falling to sleep.
This album was the soundtrack to my first year at University. I think it's one of their strongest albums and gets better with every play.
@@matthewjburt6482 It's a fantastic album for sure. My favourite of the older albums has to be Actually. I'm lucky enough to own the limited Japanese CD of Behaviour with it's beautiful felt covered box and gold text.

October 1990: the world was at my feet and this was in my car's CD player. Life was good.
I am right there with you....never realized how raptured in joy was my life then....no cell phones, social media, etc; and the wonderment and freedom that the Pet Shop Boys were to my ears!

I cannot forget the afternoon of the 19th of October 1990 when I bought "Behaviour" ! Carefree days...youth...different world. Each October I listen "behaviour" , and obviously this masterpiece.

Minha época.
Back in October 1990, when this album was released, I was working in a hotel in the Channel Islands. I had no way of listening to the album as I had no cd, cassette or record player. So I used to ‘borrow’ the hire cars, returned by hotel guests, from the hotel car park and drive around the island listening to the cassette in the evenings.

This is actually one of my favourite PSB songs of all time.... maybe because I'm born in October... a month that's rarely considered as special....even a little dreary....

Breve comentário sobre a música My October Symphony. A música faz parte do álbum Bahaviour. Neil vocalista dos Pet Shop Boys diz que essa música é sobre a Rússia. Ao escrever a letra, ele estava lendo um livro sobre a história da Rússia, e da ascensão e queda do comunismo. Durante o reinado do comunismo na Rússia, era comum que os artesãos criassem obras de arte oficiais para comemorar a da Revolução de Outubro - o levante bolchevique - e este é sobre um compositor de uma sinfonia.
Ele escreve a partir do ponto de vista de um compositor que, após a queda do comunismo, tenta determinar se seu trabalho musical ainda é válido, dada a sua motivação política estar obviamente ultrapassada .
A música foi escrita em Glasgow, na Escócia. Embora Neil tenha tocado guitarra na gravação da música,o trabalho final ficou por conta Johnny Marr ex- integrante dos The Smiths. Jay Henry também canta nessa entrelaçamento com vocais próprias de Neil em duas partes de harmonia.
As peças foram feitas por cordas do Quarteto Balanescu, que também foram a ato de aquecimento para a turnê do álbum. O canto coral da música é da sinfonia Chostakovitch, é 'Outubro' em russo. As palavras se referem à Revolução de Outubro

I remember when I first bought this CD. The guy at the register told me you will not be disappointed and he was right. I think every track is excellent that was back in 1990. Still listening in 2020. I did not know till later that Johnny Marr (The Smiths) is playing the guitar on a couple of tracks.
The song is as soulful as "Go West". Both songs are sung on behalf of a post-Soviet citizen living in the early 90s, when the Iron Curtain had just fallen, when many Soviet people wanted to leave for the West in the hope of a brighter future. I remember those days, even though I was a teenager then. This song touches me very much for the soul. Tears of longing for Europe come to my eyes, as well as from "Go West".

Easily my favourite PSB track.
nobody makes sophisticated intelligent synth pop like the Pet shop boys. But there were actually a lotta UK pop groups in the 80s making such. Very soulful and classy. But PSB always had a unique sound that had great versatility. They always had their ears & eys on gay clubs so knew how to make a great club banger as well as stunningly beautiful poignant ballads.

I hope this album is on the list for top 500 of all time from Rolling Stone Magazine. It is a beautiful album that I listen to still in 2020 and What's Going On by Marvin Gaye the number one album of all time.

PER SHOP BOYS POP ELEGANTE SUPERANDO POR MUCHO A ERASURE Y DEPECHE MODE
Por qué la comparación en dos cosas que no pueden compararse? Qué tiene que ver Depeche Mode con PSB? PSB es un Tecno más inclinado al Disco y el Europarade, mientras que DM es un Tecno inclinado al Punk y el Rock, que de hecho incluye instrumentos de rock. Se pudieron haber parecido en sus inicios, pero tomaron caminos diferentes en cuanto maduraron artisticamente.
Llevándolos al mundo del rock para que se entienda mejor, PSB sería Queen por su jocosidad, su temática más Pop (alguna dualidad con Mercury? Por qué no?) y DM sería Pink Floyd, por su oscuridad, sus experimentación, sus temáticas menos "optimistas". De hecho, hay un dicho que todo fan de ambas bandas te dirá, si Gimour y Waters tocaran tecno, sonaría sin dudas a Depeche Mode.

My memory is this song: 1990, I was 12 years old sharing a bedroom with my older & younger brothers in Los Angeles. My older brother who was in High School bought the Behavior Cassette at our local Music Plus record store and played it from beginning to end on the stereo. We've been Petheads since "Please" in 1986 (thanks to our Uncle Adam who was very in-tune with the latest music, where we got our influence from),. As soon as my brother went out with his friends one Saturday afternoon, I quickly grabbed a blank Maxell tape, then his PSB Behavior cassette and made myself a copy. I played that tape in my Sony Walkman until it wore out. I saved up some cash, went to Music Plus and bought my own Cassette original. A month later we flew out of the country to visit relatives, and that behavior cassette helped me make it through the flight and became my soundtrack for that trip. That's until the So Hard Cassette Single released and realized that there were "extra songs" in it (B-Sides) like "It Must Be Obvious"... lots of memories flood in when I listen to this track!
I'm a nineteens teen remenber my self listening tape-record October Symphony, skipping the stop I need till records ended. That's wonderful and keeps inspiring me for 30 years.

wow i didnt know johnny marr played guitar on this track he made this track sound just sublime and of course with the brilliant psb this is my fave track of the album behaviour i was very lucky back in 1991 i got to see them live at heaven night club they did a concert in aid of aids charity my friend who was a psb massive fan like me managed to get 2 tickets to see them there at heaven night club we were right at the front only about five feet away from neil and chris it was really amazing a time and place i shall never forget in my very early twenties great memories and a great night they are one of the best groups of the 80s and there still going now today just incredible long live the pet shop boys love them x and i love johnny marr legend x
