I started to watch VPR all over starting with Season 1. I cannot get over, how even from the beginning, Jax is such a tool.OMG the cheating the lying the cringe, the drinking, the all around crappy behavior. Why is he still being rewarded years later with any type of success. He is such a bad person. From the get go!
I’ve recently watched it from the beginning also. Jax starts out as the cheater in Stassi’s life.
I think it's disgusting that he's still on my TV. He has had his 15 minutes and then some, which he didn't deserve in the first place! Also, Brittany literally rewarded him for cheating with parties and trips. Sooo why would he not do it again 🙄

Are we rly moved by a child who doesn't understand real life labour, being gifted a ridiculously expensive vehicle just for being born? It's something to be proud of that Kyle and Mo have built their wealth. But it wasn't done in a vacuum. I hope Portia continues to benefit from her in-born wealth and whatever nepotism she can access, because this is not how you teach a child life skills that she may truly need later in her adult life. Things change, nothing is promised. Folks lose their wealth every day.
It is a parents duty is to prepare children for the ups, downs, and unpredictability of life. I'm not saying anything negative about this family, because I really like them. But I think parents can be susceptible to teen peer pressure and forget that these kinds of decisions are creating a value system, and expectation for the child, which can rob them of their true self-image and worth. I don't know the answer to this, but has Portia held down a normal regular job for any length of time, so that she understands what it takes to earn enough money working at Starbucks or Zara to accumulate the funds to purchase such a vehicle? I'll bet anything in her mind it's about 6 months of part-time wages to buy a Porsche.
I see a lot of well meaning parents who grew their own wealth, acting out their own poverty trauma by not instilling their hard-won values through action with their children, (rather than discussion). Instead they give their children everything they wish they had in their family story, without doing any self-reflection.
Their older children are far more prepared because they have a better understanding of adversity and where they sit in the spectrum of privilege.

insulting your sons mom within earshot of your child is being a bad and even horrible parent. He also verbally attacked her while on camera in an episode with his son right in his arms he was literally screaming in the childs face as he chased Brittany around (with his son in his arms) yelling at her and insulting her. Disgraceful !!
