The whole problem is that we should be focusing on movement patterns and not hypertrophy. Hypertrophy will come along, and fixating on it is pointless because the position of science will change every year. All these studies and analyzes are not worth the potential hypertrophic benefits. Training is supposed to help you stay fit and preserve your body. Focusing on various methods that are supposed to ensure a few percent more hypertrophy is doomed to failure, especially considering the fact that what is most optimal changes every few months.

No it doesn't? A single study shouldn't change an opinion completely, second of all they didn't even compare a deep stretch with a normal range of motion and thirdly the stretch is still the most important part of the lift for hypertrophy. We still don't know if a super deep stretch is better for hypertrophy, I just personally think that it would at best be as good as normal range of motion because you can't load up the exercise as well.

You should train in full ROM. That doesn't mean you stretch the joint to its literal maximum. If you do that you are going to have to use much less weight than you otherwise could for the normal ROM. And if you only train in partial ROM, you will only be strong in that ROM.
Actually as someone who trains for strength and conditioning, doing a full effective and functional ROM is something us guys always do . Going that much for the strech is overrated cuz it sacrifices a shi ton of load , but having a good stretch like feel the muscle somewhere is really good

The lengthen partial is harder on your joints if you did just straight up only lengthen partials say on curl, it would probably damage your elbows because full ROM, takes stress off the joint during the mid range. Lengthened partial on a preacher curl exclusively, would likely result in some elbow pain
