Yes. I've been using your original warm up routine video as part of my before game warm ups. Thanks for posting these Maria, I know I've said it before but my 45 year old hips wouldn't be able to handle hockey without your assistance over the years.
I've followed your off-ice warm up since you released the video. Playing in an adult beer league I start my prep 1 hour before leaving by packing the bag, putting my hockey playlist on then going through the dynamic warm-up. Looking forward to adding these into the routine as I'm usually a few minutes short beforehand. Once I drive to the rink I get dressed then go through some static stretching while the previous game finishes up (~10 minutes left in third). Pigeon stretch, lunges, groin openers, side to side twists. Once on ice then butterfly slides, upward dog, some side stretches kicking my leg out to the side, going into a split and reaching toward each foot.
I would love a video with some warmups that can be done in gear. I do a 20ish minute warmup before gearing up but because im new and gearing up is part of my meditative getting my mindset it takes about half an hour. That much time in a cold locker room means by the time im ready to get out there im not really warmed up anymore :/
I probably won't do an 'off-ice' warm up in full gear because it just isn't practical, but I have posted my on-ice warm up on here you go - th-cam.com/video/C7D2OqiOtpk/w-d-xo.html
@@goalietraining Yeah not necessarily looking for a full warmup, just a few things to kinda reactivate previously warmed up muscles or to keep the muscles engaged between the regular warmup and the game.
I haven't been doing a pre-dressed warm-up. Only in my third season on ice and hadn't really thought about it, but this totally makes sense. Now, I have to budget more time and find space before my beer league games....
You don't need much space at all - you can do it in the hall, lobby... beside the rink. I do mine at home then head to the rink, it is only about a 10-minute drive.
Good eye - - I got a couple new lights about a month or so ago - but I am doing a better job lighting up the background now I think. Thanks for noticing - money well spent!
That works too - I do it all at home and then take the quick drive to the rink works great too - but I also have time to go through a good warm up on the ice as well before we start playing.
Of course I do a goalie specific warm up. But I have to confess that sometimes I don’t have the time so I do a shorter version. So half a golden star ⭐️?
HI this is Caleb, I'm on my dads account. Sadly I don't do a dynamic warm-up before practices, I usually do them with my dad before games. I don't know why I don't do a dynamic warm-up before practices, I guess that I don't feel the need to it, since it's a practice, "not as important".

My pleasure to help - I look forward to helping your 50, 60, 70, 80 year old hips continue to stop pucks!
YES! Been doing your dynamic warmups for a while. I like these new ones :) Can't wait to start playing.
Me too - hopefully we will get back on here in 3-weeks or so.

Sounds like a beauty plan - makes such a difference doesn't it?
Love it!!

@@goalietraining10 minutes?! I wish! I live in Miami Beach. I drive 45 minutes to get to games.
No, I never knew how. But now it do ;) thanks!
You are welcome - happy to help!
Hey Maria...I do your original dynamic warmup now that we are back on the ice.
yeah, it is a great, quick warm-up!
@@goalietraining Absolutely. Feel great when I get on the ice. Especially since we play at 7am.
Did you change the light set up?

Static at home prior to drive MM dynamic at the rink.

Every time you step on the ice it's important - you can start doing them now.
Oh
I do a warmup at home before the game. But that is an hour and a half before the game.
Ideally you would do it closer to game time, but something is better than nothing.
