I'm guessing the Si will have something similar to the HPD package. The Sport Touring Hatchback uses a gunmetal version of the Sport Sedan wheels. I believe the latest previous, 10th generation Si used a dark finish version of the Touring Sedan which is the same wheels used on the last 10th Generation Sport/Sport Touring Hatchback.
I like this spoiler, especially the notch at ihe center. I would consider getting this, but the Sport looks fine as is.
I don't think the HPD package is available for any trim other than the Sport, and would not look good on the other trim levels except the Touring if you got the emblems blacked out and the chrome delete black out kit window trim..

@@717PROJECT My idea would be to put the previous 10th Generation Si 200 HP engine and 6 Speed as the manual option for the Sport Touring Hatchback, and that 2.0L turbo detuned Type R 270? HP engine from the Accord Sport/Touring as a great mid-point between the Sport Touring Hatchback and the Si. That performance boost would make the Si much more formidable in it's class.
It wouldn't be any engineering challenge, just a production cost issue. And put the Bose Stereo, wireless charging/Apple Carplay/Android Auto to sweeten the pot.
Keep the Analog/Digital instrument panel from the Sport, and single zone A/C to keep costs down, essentially a Sport inside but the tech I mentioned, and performance is key, just Si seats, body kit, and more performance tuned suspension, but more comfortable as a daily driver than the Type R.
I bet you that would sell and appease all those that often say this performance edition should have more power.

This is probably the nicest spoiler I have seen for this car, even nicer than the HPD appearance package one, because of the notch. I think a roof spoiler would be a little overdone.
I don’t know if the HPD package is even offered on anything other than the Sport sedan, at least factory installed, but I believe you could order it separately. But it only looks good on the Sport.
The Touring looks fine as is for that toned down, more mature look. The Touring top line trims traditionally add chrome for more bling, like the upper trim above the doors. For the Touring, they should use the smoked chrome on all the trim and emblems.
If you want that more Sport oriented treatment on the Touring, on other than black, I would black out the emblems, and upper side window trim and paint the spoiler color keyed like you are doing.
The black spoiler matches the Sport black wheels, but the Touring wheels bright brushed alumimum looks sporty but would look nicer with the smoke grey/gunmetal like finish on the ptevious 10th Generation Civic Sport Sedan wheels(which were on the Sport Hatchback, before they ironically changed to these Touring style wheels on their last refresh.)
Also, the new Sport/Sport Touring Hatchback seems to be using the Sport Sedan wheels with the bright brushed aluminum finish with black accents. They should be smoked finished like those previous Sport Sedan wheels if they are not. It's difficule to tell from the videos.
What would be really nice on a black Sport Sedan is 24K Gold, or simulated Hinda emblems and badges, and center wheel hub Honda Logos, as well as the wheel lugs, or easier to do is get the black wheel lugs and locking lug. That Gloss black snd 24K Gold always gives thst upscale classy luxury persona. Or you cold go red on black, which has that sporty performance vibe.
When you mount the spoiler, trial fit, and precisely measure as best as possible, the spaces on each end with tape to get it centered. And afterwards show the views walking around from the side, around the back to the other side from a distance to get all the angle views.

Great review! I purchased the trunk spoiler (and the rear window spoiler) after watching this video and installed it yesterday. Drove my 22 Civic Sport (same Aegean Blue as you) around town today and already got a few comments/looks about it. If I were to paint them later on, what type of paint would you recommend? Would Plastidip work? Or is it fine to leave as is? I live in Northeast like you, and I'm concerned the winters/summers would degrade the material over time.

@@717PROJECT I personally would paint the trunk spoiler gloss black and maybe the roof spoiler blue (or leave it black). @717PROJECT  3 ปีที่แล้ว

It's nothing to jump for joy about, but It's not horrible. I know the touring has a bose speaker set up. I'd assume it's like the 10th gen touring set up if you had or have one. Hope that's helpful Soap, appreciate the comment, thank you!

@@717PROJECT thanks guys. As long as it’s not shit, I think i’d survive. I was able to hear my friend’s with the same system. It’ll suffice. Though it’s no mark levinson system like I had in my Lexus. No biggie though.

Dan, The bonding agent that it comes with is really good. Had to remove it again after paint. Need's redone. Were going to do it on the car this time. Same with the roof spoiler. Bends to much and paint cracked and lifted. It won't fall off! Hopefully will have that video up next weekend. Depends on the body shop!
