Tip to avoid rain water entering in engine | Civic 8th gen Reborn | Driving in rain water

That air intake is bad design by honda, yesterday i went thru a flash flood no way out of it, the water level was high as headlights and today they have water in the lense.If my car had the air intake like this honda the car would have hydrolocked and be a total loss

You have to make sure the water level is below the intake pipe.
Even low water levels when moving in waves can get into the pipe. But make sure to keep the speed low when driving in rain water to avoid splashing
