Not a lot of folks will understand the weight in those slabs you're carrying but I do, and my hat's off to you! Great job covering the facts on white oak. In dendrology class I studied 20 species of white oak...and 20 years later I don't remember much of them but I can still identify about half them. I recently milled about 40 BF of white oak (chestnut oak specifically) and it dulled my blade a considerable amount. I prefer poplar! But i used the strips from it for a zipline build as tree protectors.
That’s awesome man! I really enjoy learning about different species of trees. Yeah, those slabs were no joke. A lot heavier than I wanted them to be. I appreciate you watching.

Great job with the history and facts! I just bought a hm126 and am in the process of putting it together. Did you buy a blade sharpener?
I did not buy a blade sharpener. I bought a 10 pack from woodland mills and then 5 blades from wood mizer. Hope to get a sharpener soon.
