There are several sad factors to me watching this in late 2022; - watching this after the tragic passing of JDF (may he rest in peace). - the fact that I only just discovered the 'shattered grid' storyline just the very following day (never watched/followed the continuity after the original MMPR series, not even the comics). - knowing now that there will never be a live action adaptation of this storyline (... well, at least not one starring JDF). - seeing an evil version of Tommy watching his alternate self talking with his friends, perhaps contemplating would he could have had, had he made different choices
I'd pay hundreds of dollars to see these amazing comic book stories turned into full movies. There's so much creativity and brilliance put into the comics that would make amazing content for movies.
we might have gotten to before sense one of the couple different projects they were talking about after the new seasons over were animated movies and shows cut down on coast but i doubt we will be getting anything to do with JDF now when someone leaves us the way he did toy lines and shows and stuff tend to distance them selfs cause they dont want to be linked to it or look like they are making money off it

This could've also been a TV show, instead of chasing the youngest market, they could've easily gone with a darker tone, there is a reason why Time Force remains as one of the best seasons ever done; they followed a very mature direction... Had they started making this kind of content the franchise could've recovered and even do much better as it did back in the day
Don't forget RPM and SPD, both dealt with heavy storylines for the rangers and their mentors. Hell, look at Dr K's storyline. The actress pulling off that performance was 15 when she did so.

Hollywood needs to make a movie, if not a mini-series, of this with JDF while they still have the chance to do so. Yeah, it's pretty good. The whole morphing grid concept is far bigger than you think. The spot where Gordon is has others like him. He isnt the other one. When you fully tap into the morphing grid, you become like Jordan and basically hit God hood. The story is crazy.

Sad to say we don't have the original tommy on this era but hoping that this arc will be made in his memory😢

I'm amazed at how many people in the comics ended up watching this, but are as clueless as they are about what it is.
If this were a movie, this would breathe new amazing life into the franchise and be on a whole new fantastic level!!!

I really hope this becomes a movie because this looks really good. I think it would be awesome to see an evil Tommy Oliver attacking all the rangers.

This comic series was actually really good and much more adult than I expected.
I've been holding off on reading the MMPR comics, but now I think I'm going to have to dive in and binge them all. This looks awesome!
