    I've already purchased several mask patterns from your company--the "flu mask" one is GREAT. Thank you so much for caring enough to create these patterns and create videos like these.

    I enjoy your tutorials. That bugged out music, and the excitement in your voice as you teach. Also I have learned that I actually like a sowing machine. Surgery is cool. Kudos.

      We used a sowing machine to plant seeds on the farm when I was a child.

    What about using dust suits or painter suits that are made with polypropylene?

      beaumiffle hey. Just a headsup. And you might already know this, but Please ask your healthcare providers what they need BEFPRE supplying them with homemade masks. Some places are only able to accept certain kinds of mask. And all masks are not created equal. So. Don’t just roll up with a trunk full of these unannounced and expect the hospital or wherever to be able to accept them.

      Yes. I bought a Creality Ender 3 3d printer to make respirators with filters and was looking at this for filter builds, however, I have cats and they will not take them from me as allergies for some potential patients, I hadn't considered that. Making for family and friends now. Best if you could offer a somewhat sterile environment to make the masks. I bought Filti fabric (directly from them) and have active carbon from coconut shells (Amazon) as well. Trying to determine the best way to combine. I'm from a coal mining family, so I want to make sure the active carbon dust does not get to the lungs (like coal dust for miners). I am also worried the active carbon could clog the Filti mico-fiber, so will probably do multi layer with maybe a cotton cloth with active carbon with Filti as the inner layer. It's sad how little information is available on the internet to allow someone to actually evaluate the risks. It's all advertising with little useful information. Thanks a lot Google for making the internet a big billboard. (I would NOT recommending buying the Ender 3 from creality3d. shop - the first Google hit - it's not the actual company and seems to has a lot of fake sales with everything always in stock.)

    Thank you! Here I had all these items stored in closets, not realizing their value. Glad I didn't throw away old style vacuum bags when I got my Dyson!! Is it possible to add a blurb as to how often they can be re-used inside mask before discarding. I think the store - bought pm2.5 is good for 16-24 hrs a day and last for 1-2 weeks as long as the mask is washed daily. Not sure, just what I read. Please advise. Thank you!!

    Can i wash it to use more than one time?

    • @jjoyous
      @jjoyous 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The pillowcase lining is the only one that can be laundered the other linings most likely would come apart in the wash.

    • @yvonnedelories4780

      @@jjoyous thanks. so you're saying after buying the vacuum bag and charcoal items to cut, sew or tape to make a filter it can only be used once? Those filters can't be cleaned without being washed like the pillow case one?

      MGM - it sounds like Nick Bertke aka POGO aka the Australian homophobic ‘conservative’ shit-stirrer who creates lovely remixes. I had to boycott him 😔His albums are delicious but he promotes violent homophobic, misogynistic rhetoric. yuck, huh?

    Can all of these filters be reused? And how would you clean them?

    • @joyridemew
      @joyridemew 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The CDC says that you must remove the filter and dispose it in the trash before washing your mask then simply put a new one in when your mask is dry and ready to wear. They also recommend to use 3 or more layers of coffee filters or fabric which are cheaper. Hope I was able to help🤗
