Hey we just recorded a Cover of this song I think you should check it out! We used this as our source material for doing the song! Thanks for making this.
@@Kapelia only audio exists, but it's very high quality now, look up the channel Rare Nirvana, should be on there. I believe it's titled unknown Song San diego. In their Live playlist.
Did you add the vocal filters? I don’t think I’ve ever heard a Nirvana song, live or studio, with delay or echo… Not saying it’s bad, just notable. One of the reasons I love Nirvana is because how dry the vocals and guitar is.
@@anorexorcistburgerOkay fair enough. I was thinking more about more obvious filters like strong reverb and delay and such. I understand vocal filters exist quite a bit, but from my understanding, as a non-musician, but someone who consumes a lot of music, Nirvana has a particularly "dry" sound in terms of filters/production/etc compared to other rock bands
Started working on it. Just trying to get the tempos to match up. They are similar but not exactly the same. I also will add the cello and possibly Sinead o Connor's vocals in the background
I love that the ending part is added and the song is extended fluidly. That way we can actually hear Dave's drums nuances. The drums are the best part
The drums are definitely driving this song hard. 1:16
Rohypnol is the best Nirvana album we never got.
I remember I found a cd of it while cleaning the garage out with my dad over the weekend
No "Dire " is the best fan made.
Good shit man, always loved how raw the vocals from the live version of this song are, you incorporated them beautifully.
This would've been so fun to hear live 😩
th-cam.com/video/ana6oNF7PwI/w-d-xo.html
They performed it live once or twice
Autopilot it's called.
@@DischordalchorousSir no it is not
Autopilot was jusr a mishearing of the name of You Know You're Right
Oh shit, my mistake. They played this live in 93, but I can't remember working title. Fkdup on that one. Do you know the name it was called?
The delay and reverb on the vocals paired with the crisp instrumental sounds amazing
I’ve been wanting this for over a decade
I thought I heard every bootleg, ever unreleased studio cut and ever home recording… guess I was wrong.
we never gonna hear everything, there so many studio sessions

Awesome job gents! Probably the best cover I ever heard of that song, if not the only cover I've ever heard of that song lol well done.
bass tab?
The song known as Ivy League, which may or may not be this song, is actually supposed to be I.V League. Makes more sense with Kurts dark humour.
I believe it was just called Jam After Dinner. Ivy league was never the name for it as far as I know
@@ifkurtcobainlived there was a song called I.V League he was working on around this time, at least according to Courtney
This idea was added into the next video thanks to you.
Four league? Wtf is funny about that.
@@heightenedsenses9605 I.V abbreviation of intravenous
Thanks man!
When i thought i had seen it all... ivy league.
Badass 🤘
If Kurt Cobain lived... Man I like to think he faked his own death and got away.
Bom trabalho
Fucking rock candy. Marry Kristmas
is this real or?
Instrumental demo from 1994. Same day as you know you're right, with vocals from the live version from 1993 mixed into it
@@ifkurtcobainlived Damn thats sick. there's a live version of this? where can I watch it
@@Kapelia only audio exists, but it's very high quality now, look up the channel Rare Nirvana, should be on there. I believe it's titled unknown Song San diego. In their Live playlist.
@@ifkurtcobainlivedIn fact, there is even footage of this song live
Cool Remix. But the vocals are a little quiet and the drums way too present.
I find it depends on the headphones,
I also didn't mix the song because it came as a instrumental already finished, so not much I could do
Dey had dem foaties doattie toimez
would you have the original instrumental? im a collector I can't find any versions with the ending in.
I used the original take from the full session on TH-cam. I had to cut it up and mix it together for it to flow
Message me your email. I'll send you the instrumental I made
this was good
Could someone explain me what Ivy means? I see a lot of bands using the ivy thing and idk, im not from usa so..maybe that's the reason. Thanks!
Ivy League is a group of the most prestigious colleges in America
It is also used in a broader slang way meaning the best or elite
IV….it’s a play on intravenous drug use
Well done.

I added it because it's live vocals and sounded like crap without it,
Also listen to scentless Apprentice, you'll get the same kind of fx
What’re you talking about? Never listened to Nevermind? ‘Cause it’s full of vocal filters.
23/1/88 performance has loads of echo on the vox, especially on anorexorcist

Sounds great but why does it cut short at the end?
That's where the song cuts off in the original demo
@@ifkurtcobainlived i have one that is complete.
I can send you the vocal track and you can add them in, or vice versa
dude, any chance you can do something similar with the All Apologies jangly demo? add studio (or live) vocals to it?
I'll look into it

@@ifkurtcobainlived ever finish this? and where did the Sinead vocal idea come from? lol
@@atomeyes99 nah I never finished it. And Sinead O'Connor did a cover of all apologies, check it out
It's pretty good
yep?
🤣
I V League. Lol it's a play on IV drug use
It's actually called Jam After Dinner and Ivy League/I.V. League isn't real
Sounds like something from Bleach
Anyone know the lyrics?
Don't think there actually is any
@@ifkurtcobainlived I like quirky riffs and bends in this song, it would been incredible if it was finished.
@@Teekay617 I heard him say "I never had to find/sign it" so sounds like there is words but just made up on the spot
