    • @beanie1089
      @beanie1089 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +253

      I get the want to jab Adesanya, but if you were him, what's the perspective gained and needed for your own mentality as a fighter to move on from an opponent? To have to fight and beat him two more times, or to show yourself that you can beat him? I'm betting if we're being honest, it's the latter. Izzy beat him once after losing to him three times. That doesnt happen often, that opponents fight four times, and it happens even less that the outcome changes after three times. I dont get fans or athletes on this odd high horse regarding a profesional athlete, a kickboxer with a record of 75-5, an mma record of 24-3, and we're making fun of him for not fighting a guy he finally beat? It's skatilogical and lazy.

    • @ChuckwaldMartin
      @ChuckwaldMartin 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +373

      "It took four tries but I got it done in one." It doesn't make sense, Adesanya has so much money but I don't think he'll ever be happy. He seems so insecure. Alex didn't even want the instant rematch after he lost, he was happy he won the title and accepted that he lost the rematch.

      The interpreter didn't portray it the way that it was said, I think the interpreter that the other Brazilians use would have been a lot better and Izzy could have seen that it was a heartfelt message. But that's always hard with a language barrier, and then he ended it off with come to daddy. As a grown man, of course you're going to have some issue, and be real with yourself. Izzy won that first fight and every fight he lost he was winning. This isn't some clean slate, It's still a highly competitive rivalry

People need to start recognizing when things like this happen instead of delusionally denying it because Alex is so respectable and well-liked. He's one of my favorite fighters ever, but an unacceptably early stoppage like that one is never okay, and could negatively impact his legacy when viewed in hindsight without the positive bias coming from Alex's hype train. best thing Izzy has ever done in his entire career by far lol
      Alexs resume is already way better than Izzys thats whats so funny
      Izzys reign was only long cause the MW division was by FAR the worst division in the UFC it was so trash until now Izzy has literally never fought a good grappler but people hate on Alex for that.. Jan could easily beat Izzy Alex beat Jan lol
      Strickland completely schooled Izzy for 25 minutes Alex knocked Strickland out in 2,5 minutes lmaooo
      Izzys resume is sooo overrated Usmans aswell they were never that good especially Usman
      Izzy beat Costa but was CLEARLY on PEDS More Plates More Dates literally made 3 30 minutes videos on Izzy on which PEDS cause his giant gyno. Izzy only has knockout power when he has gyno, guess when the Gyno was back full in action lmao right in the Perreira rematch and Izzy wasnt tested lmao.
      Izzy fought Romero who was on a 2 fight LOSING streak and the fight was either way, he fought fucking Vettori who is absolute trash and Vettori had to do a 6 week turn around after fighting Kevin Holland lol. Izzy beat Jared, Jared is decent nun more. Izzy lost the rematch vs Rob even TheWeasle scored it for Rob
      Izzy has only been champ for a long time cause the MW division was by FAR the worst division in the UFC lmao. Never even fought 1 good grappler, MWs are so trash now the MW division finally has some good fighters, nowadays Izzy imo would not even become champ or wouldnt get more than 2 defenses lmao. Khamzat would ragdoll Izzy same as Anthony Hernandez hes underrated af, Ikram would beat Izzy, DDP will take Izzy down and bully him cause even fucking Vettori and Rob could take Izzys back lmaooo
