I’m genuinely surprised that BOTH Sonic and Shadow actually went through with not only the pink cars thing at the beginning, but also to KISS + compliment Amy as requested by the livestream chat. It would be hilarious if it happened again, though it would be more likely to be with Sonic & Amy rather than Shadow & Amy. I swear it’s probably going to happen again at some point, I’m just wondering if it will be the very next livestream to make it a three for three since apparently Sonic had to kiss Amy in a livestream on Emerald Masters (though it was Knuckles live-streaming and not Shadow). I’ll have to look into that to be sure.

Technically it wouldn't be incest since Shadow and Maria aren't related. They have a best friend type relationship. I only ship Shadaria in an alternate universe in my head canon where Maria comes back to life as a hedgehog.
When Maria is a human, and in the main universe I do not ship them since they seem to be more best friends.

I'll have you know there's a difference between a loved one and someone you share the bed with. To the best of my knowledge Shadow was happy until Maria died. It's called grief. Another point, I think the point of SonicXElise in Sonic'06 was that Sonic was supposed to be like a person but in a hedgehog's body. I think that's stupid but SEGA seems to not understand many things. I don't think it was love that allowed Elise to bring Sonic back to life. I think it was because she's a princess. Traditionally, princesses have special powers. I think Blaze would have been able to do the same just because she's also a princess.
