    *I started smoking cigarettes since my teenage. Got addicted for over 23 years. Cigarettes addiction actually destroyed my life. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Not until a friend recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms*

      Yes Mr.Luccas024 ..Mushrooms are very medicinal. This is why anybody familiar with psilocybin and any other kind of fungi will tell you, "They are alive." They have a very ancient wisdom. To my experience, all mushrooms have always said, "Pay attention to your life. How you think, how you feel, and what will you do with the information that you always knew, but now are seeing in this point of view." This is why mushrooms are so respected in tribal cultures. This mental health treatment works for me too. Half micro doses do the trick for me. At least a few days at a time with lengthy time in between. Never addictive. Thank you for sharing this point!

With good set&setting I think they can help everyone with their issues, a good intention can change a life and the possibility to intend your future stays in you even when you're sober. Important note: at 2:40 he mentions Psilocybin (active compound in magic mushrooms) but the timing and edit show Amanita Muscaria aka Fly Agaric (of which the active compounds are muscimol and ibotenic acid) which is completely different and commonly mistaken for magic mushrooms- while it CAN be used for hallucinogenic properties it's not recommended and typically not a very pleasant experience. Instead it's more commonly microdosed for anxiety, healthier sleep and more focus and has just started seeing a revolution in terms of understanding and use and also has a long standing traditional use in many communities throughout the world.
    It's an important distinction because they work on very different parts of the brain (GABA vs serotonin) and the same mistake has been propagated for the last few decades and thus many people write it off or lump it in as something people just take to trip exactly because of editing or assumption like this.

    I took psychedelics while actively participating in psychotherapy after getting out of the mental hospital for suicidal thoughts. After 6 years of depression and 2 suicide attempts psychedelics helped give me vital insights into my degrading thought patterns. I had to put in a lot of work integrating these into therapy and real life. Repeating the lessons to myself under my breath over and over everyday. But for the first time ever I can say that I am completely depression and anxiety free and hope to become an entrepreneur in the psychedelic industry to give back what was given to me. I want to cry just thinking about all the lost souls who need help understanding their misery, I know that place and I wanted to get out so bad. I owe my entire life to these substances and my therapist. I am so healthy and capable now, all I want is to be able to give that back to others who were stuck just like me.

    I spent so many years of my life under the spell of cigarettes, depression and severe ptsd. Gained my freedom with the help of nature using mushroom (psilocybin) precisely. After my experience with shrooms five years ago every cigarette I lit up tasted like literal poison. I would take one hit and put out the cigarette. I haven't smoked since, no more depressive mood and ptsd. Few doses of shroom experience made a 15 year 2 pack a day smoker quit instantly. Shrooms are life changing. I'll be forever grateful for psychedelics. They helped me "rewire" my brain. Long story short, I got Tourettes syndrome, not in my wildest dream did I thought it was possible to locate what triggers my tics and many reasons behind them. It was like I could use the overheating brain signals to send the tics outside my body and forcing the impulse in the brain to just stay there, almost cooking. But after a while, it was cooling of.
    Sounds very easy, takes incredible amount of willpower but LSD, somehow, helped me locate why many of my tics is there. Like went straight into my subconcious and saw it in a way that I didn't knew was possible.
    Psychedelics is really incredible.

    I have been suffering from CPTSD since I was abused for being autistic by my parents as a child. I was a nervous wreck around other people, afraid to talk to anyone, and my mental health was in the trash can. I had depression, I couldn't get myself to leave home or get a job, and I'd often times think about suicide or self injury. This all changed one day when I came across a few videos talking about psilocybin and ayahuasca. They mentioned how they could have long term lasting positive benefits on life meaning and helping you out of a depression. I took a leap of faith and tried both of these substances with a year between each of them.
    After psilocybin it was like I was snapped out of my funk instantly, and I began to turn my life around. I got a job, I learned to drive, I saved up and bought my own car and moved out of my grandmas house. Later I was still dealing with self worth and anxiety issues, so I tried the ayahuasca by going to a Native American church on the west coast. During the experience it was like all negative patterns of thought bubbled up, popped, and disappeared. I saw many visions and learned more about myself in the span of two nights than I've learned in my 25 years of life. I saw the light and love that I never had growing up and I was changed for the better.
    I'm still not perfect, and it would be foolish to expect to fix all my flaws, but I'm at a point where I can look at myself in the mirror and feel a sense of pride looking at how far I've come from where I started. These are powerful sacred medicines and be treated with respect. Anyone thinking about using should do proper research before committing to trying, and have the proper company. But if you do I promise it will change your life.
    (Also, this goes without saying, but don't buy these things online you'll only get scammed)

    I've had magic truffles (Psilocybin) about 5 times over the span of 2 years. I've had beautiful experiences with them and each one has been so different from the next. Beautifully introspective and a sense of happiness. Incredible visuals and enjoying things differently to what you've ever been used to. Delicious flavors got better and music was far more beautiful. But there's two sides to the coin in my personal experiences. My last two were less so beautiful and something slightly more sinister, bringing up difficult things from the past, not in a way that they made me feel despair or depressed, but touchingly sad nonetheless. Dancing on the line between what started out as a good trip, threatening to roll off into a bad trip but barely avoiding one. I've had my share of psychedelic experiences from now on and i'm choosing to close the book there. The experiences i've had have changed my life for the better and that's where I'll draw the line. To have had the experience and to be able to tell others about them.
    All I can say is that the company, the setting and the mindset are incredibly important, and you need to make sure you've got someone keeping watch if you really consider trying it.
    I was on the edge of a bad trip and the thought of that was scary. I have no doubt a bad trip is gonna do you more harm than good in the long run, so please be careful. ♥

    The good, the bad, the ugly, and the wondrous… you might see it all on psychedelics, and that’s the beautiful part about its healing properties. No matter the context you wrap around your experience, it will always teach you something.

    • @halla3184
      @halla3184 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah this! Most of my bad trips can be traced back to me getting too invested in my own fears and anxieties, trying to force a certain experience, or ignoring warning signs and not taking proper precautions. I hesitate to call them “bad” trips though, rather just really difficult ones. They still taught me valuable lessons that I am grateful for to this day. Whenever I make it through a tough psychedelic journey, I feel proud of myself for my resilience while also being humbled by my fragility

    These things have been used as far back as we can go back. Nature has given us all we need. These things included. When it comes to these things one must experience these sacred journeys to fully grasp what they teach. Iboga which one don't get talked about as much happens to be the number 1 treatment for opiates and heroin. Within 45 minutes the withdrawal becomes non existent and one to three ceremonies has over a 90 percent success rate. Those who have experienced this all day they are guided by 2 spirits who guide them back to the root cause of the issue they are trying to overcome come then guide them on how they themselves can heal themselves. Which is why it's so successful. Each have their own benefits as to what it can bring individually. When taken correctly with knowing how these things work can do wonders. When you truly understand how they work you realize what many call a "bad trip" doesn't really exist. Like dreams they need to be interpreted. Since these journeys are individual if it's something one may call a bad trip then it's only showing the individual themselves that something major needs changed. Only the individual themselves truly knows what that will be if truly honest with themselves. These things tend to make the individual face the things they tossed in the closet and never faced. Becoming past attachments that become issues down the road. Once they are faced head on and only then can they truly be released from us and stay in the winds of the past. Allowing for better things to come to us. It's my perspective anyways from what I've experienced with these things. They are called plant teachers by some and once you've experienced it for oneself you'll understand why. I and I 🕉️

    • @austindarrenor
      @austindarrenor 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You shouldn't have to ingest a poison causing damage to your brain and central nervous system in order to see reality for the better. The proof that these drugs are poisons is that you have to increase the dosage to get the same effect since your body is working out how to dispel of it. Conversely with a vitamin for example this isn't the case.

    Mushrooms helped me knock out 20 years of weed addiction. It also knocked out hardcore energy drinks addiction as well as caffeine but I went back to coffee. My anxiety was flatlined for 2 weeks and would rate 0 on a scale of 100. I feel 'normal' now instead of being in the flow state right after the trip. (Although I am not 100% sure, it COULD have also cured my chronic back and shoulder pain. Reason I said 'could' is because 'suddenly' I am not aware of the pain. Not sure if correlated to shroom trips.)

    point of view: many prescribed medications cause numerous unexpected, or unwanted, side effects with occassional long term alterations to life. Meaning the medication causes a profound change to ones self - but the change was not the reason for taking the medication. Pyschedelics can cause the same, some for the better, some not so beneficial.

    I used to microdose for about 6 months last year and from my experience i must say that it worked better than any antidepressant I’ve ever been on (and ive been on a lot)
    But i just want to cross over one thing to anyone reading this… and this is just my personal experience and opinion (psilocybin affects everyone differently)
    Anyway, There’s a difference between microdosing to really help your depression and macrodosing with the mindset that it will fix your problems by itself. They will force you to confront your deepest traumas and face your biggest fears. You can’t fight it, you can’t change your thoughts. It will make you relive those traumas and im sorry to say this, but if you’ve had a lot of traumatic experiences in your life, you won’t have a good time on higher doses… even though your mindset and environment is perfect for the occasion.
    Im not trying to scare anyone off or say psychedelics are bad - but i feel that many people out there are under the impression that high doses can make things better overnight. Rather play it safe, stick with the amount that works best for you. I know the heroic dose sounds appealing and intriguing but I personally feel like some ppl should just not go there. I learnt the hard way after taking a very high dose and developed a new form of exestential depression paired with depersonalisation, which lasted a couple of months (I consider myself lucky) Today im too scared to try it again fearing flashbacks. Im hoping to microdose oneday again when they finally become legalised in my country. Stat safe people, respect this sacred fungi and it will resepect you🙏🍄

    Psychedelics helped me change my life for the better, but at the same time, so did dissociates like an analog IT PCP called 3-HO-PCP. They each showed me an alternative look into life, and the values of everything I was presented with during my life. I have come closer to those I love, focused on my education, and ultimately got sober from cocaine, opiates, and benzodiazepines. My life wouldn't be what it is today without having taken those at some point.

    I wonder why these experiences our brains are already wired for require drugs. Eckhart Tolle seems to be saying we can have these experiences without them.

    • @halla3184
      @halla3184 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is possible! I managed to get pretty close. I have found the Wim Hof breathing exercise while meditating can get pretty trippy! It has also been theorised that under the right conditions the brain is actually capable of producing it’s own form of dmt (or was it lsd? I can’t quite remember), which would go to show that we are already biologically predisposed to processing these substances.
      So no, if you train your brain the right way and do the right exercises, you don’t need psychedelics to achieve a psychedelic experience. It would take a lot more time and work though, and I couldn’t tell you exactly how to do it. Taking the substances is a whole lot simpler X’D

      @ Caper. here I think it's more of a symbiotic relationship. We evolve with the plants and fungi that produce these substances, we need each other. I suspect our brains are more likely to devolve from these relationships as we separate from the natural world and possibly lose these abilities unless we find alternative stimuli. Great point btw.

    I wonder why the presentator didn't mention psychedelic effects caused, not by consumption of external drugs, but by non-invasive processes related to hyperventilation, such as, just as an example, the method of Holotropic Breathwork (which was based, in part, on research into worldwide ancestral cultures' 'psychedelic' practices). Isn't it surprising that, to some extend, the Human Body can generate its own drugs on its own, in order to generate (at least to certain extend) some sort of psychedelic experience in the Mind, without any external drug (except for excessive Oxygen, due to hyperventilation).

      Because he's an expert in pharmacology not breathwork. He spoke on what he studies for a living. You wouldn't go to a buddhist and ask why they didn't speak on how we can have psychedelic experiences just by taking a pill or a drop of liquid. That's dumb.

    Mushrooms are extremely amazing. I could remember several years ago, i suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Was actually diagnosed with ADHD. Not until my mom recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.

    I think if it wasn't for all of my massive psychedelic experiences that broke my brain, I'd probably be dead now because life is sometimes overwhelming and having psychedelic experiences that are way stronger than you expected can reset your brain and make you feel like a new person.... I can't wait for magic mushrooms to be legal so everyone can feel better about themselves.

    Pro-Tip - If you're a guy that frequently get's anxiety trips from marijuana, please don't mix it with psys if you want to have the best experience. I narrowly escaped from what could have been a bad LSD trip, and the root was MJ. I still value that experience because 1. No Harm Done except wasting some time because of negative thoughts during the peak 2. A good life lesson I learnt from a personal POV about negativity in general.
    P.S I have reduced my MJ consumption to once every 2 months, but during the good trip that I was having, I took some puffs as my friend was smoking it and I thought it would add to it.

    It sounds like psychedelics a biological version of partially reformatting a hard drive. It gets deeper into the source code of the brain and resets key components. So when you exit the experience, you're primed to change behaviors you couldn't before.

      Damn son you got toyed with 😂 But yeah, I agree! Considering how intricate mycelial networks are, almost akin to a brain with neurons, it wouldn’t shock me to find out they’re another fully sapient, sentient species that have been evolvong along side us on this world for millions of years. They just didn’t go the route of developing individual egos like we did. They are our friends, and the fact that they’re showing up more and more in our collective consciousness right now proves that they are trying to help us, to assist us on our journey towards love and healing.

      Wow, maybe the shrooms were alive. Steve Jobs said, “Taking LSD was a profound experience, one of the most important things in my life. LSD shows you that there’s another side to the coin, and you can’t remember it when it wears off, but you know it. It reinforced my sense of what was important-creating great things instead of making money, putting things back into the stream of history and of human consciousness as much as I could.”

    Just to clarify the end. The new wave or psychedelic medicine come because of the initial wave in the 50 - 70s where psychedelic psychotherapist who was trained up wanted to practice it after it becoming illegal. After leaning the mechanics of how to make it legal he founded a company called Maps in the 90s, and slowly started re doing the research publicly funded.

      LSD and mushrooms completely changed my whole outlook on life. I became a better version of myself This experience gave me a lot of confidence about my self and my body. A bunch of bad thought/behavior patterns were broken. One of these was pretty bad OCD that made me wash my hands a lot. It gave me a lot of hope that things will be fine, this is the one thing that I heard throughout the trip: Everything is alright. The main reason for the trip was my severe depression and it definitely helped me (although it's not gone). Before all I could do was lay in bed. Now am trying to rebuild my life one step at a time which wasn't possible before."
