i got an overdoze of creativity after watching this video, good job, i'm impressed of the amount of work they did to make life easier, unfortunately, the GDL power is always kept as a secret, i think GDL experts should share their knowledge with younger users, to unleash the real power of archicad.
It is a complex beast to get your head into. There really does need to be more GDL courses out there and I personally feel it needs to be simplified a bit more for the average user.
i can understand why the orientation check was left at the end -- it'll be really useful for practically every office that uses the software. i'm hoping it'll be improved & implemented by Graphisoft in the future.

There are a few tools that are out there. From my memory BIM6x have a label that you can place on walls to perform that check as well.
