I know you haven't listened and you caught it in the list, but there's 4 versions of Heroes -- Heroes, Heroes Never Die, an orchestra version of Heroes, and a Primals band version of Heroes. Had I the time or money I'd slap all four together in a request 'cause I'd love to hear what you think of any of them. Related to those songs I'm surprised no one has requested Revenge Twofold or it's orchestral counterpart, they're like the Torn from the Heavens of the Heavensward expansion (so expect to hear the Heavensward leifmotifs!). Surely one way or another those songs will reach you someday! Thank you for doing what you do and I'm so happy you got a glimpse of FFXIV's musical community.
I've been looking forward to this since you mentioned it in an earlier video. One thing I really enjoy with react videos is seeing if songs from the game have the same emotional impact without the context of the moment it comes from. Limsa Lominsa, Gridania and Ul'dah, are the names of the three cities in which you can start the game, and the tracks with the same names are the overworld themes you hear while being in said cities. That's also why they pop up so early in that colaboration.

I forget where he mentioned it, but it took him somewhere in the triple digits for hours of editing (and he did do it himself). This video, his other medley and Alex Moukala's community medleys are the embodiment of music bringing people together. Different walks of life, nationalities, languages, ages and genders... they all come together to play out of love for this game and music- and it is the most wholesome thing to brighten your day.
This is our community Jesse. It's an amazing group of people. Husky's 1000 players sing is also a great one to do if anyone ever recommends it. But the community is just awesome and full of wonderful people.

Husky is SO talented. He's organized several of these community projects for XIV and they're all excellent. I hope you get to check out more of them as time goes on. I now you have probably heard this before but the free trial starting next week now goes up to stormblood (the second expansion) so lots of content for free. Also they cut out a lot of the arr fluff so you may have a better experience this time

So many talented people indeed. I can play several instruments but I can't really play them all that well. I can sing... but I'll never have the singing voice of many of these people. It's not just talent, though. It's a testament to hours upon hours of bleeding fingers and damaged vocal chords :)
Players have gone through the journey of the story, & memories of playing the game. Some, even fresher to it than you are your first reaction. You've gone on your own journey to get here, & while not through the game, it's also been w/ it, so we're bonded through the music. Great work dude. Here's to keeping it up & continuing to grow.

It's really about watching people coming together who share a love for something and making something great together. Separately we may not run into anyone like us with our interests and talents, but TH-cam gives us so much reach to find your community and feel understood and seen. You should check that out to, even if it's just to watch/listen by yourself without putting it on the channel. Something I find fascinating is the spread of people you see here. From youngsters, to people using vTuber avatars to people beyond 40 years in age, all united by a single "game" albeit calling FF14 merely a game falls short to what it means to many of us. Yeah, for a lot of people, the thing with Soken playing otamatone starts with the pre-endwalker digital fan fest performance, but I swear I remember like a video from a fan fest in like the early heavensward era on reddit where somebody handed him an otamatone while meeting him in an open convention floor setting at a fanfest or something and he made an attempt to play it and it had been a smaller ongoing meme for a while until the la-hee @ fanfest moment.
@@kawaxiv They did, and his first performance with them was the Yanxia theme song. Obviously nowhere near as accessible to find because it wasn't streamed, but you can find cell phone footage videos up on TH-cam.
When are you going to play FFXIV, on Tuesday 6.5 patch drops making free trail all the way through until level 70, no time limit, So you get ARR, Heavensward, and Stormblood for free, xbox beta is also dropping. The music has much more meaning when it is put into context.
Not enough Heavensward or Organ, 1/10. Being serious though, good medley, props to the artists. Then again, plenty of classical medleys everywhere lol.

The first few songs, the main city songs, are super underrated because people will spend most of their time in the cities. Ul'dah ("A New Hope") is my favourite because it's one of those that feels like the beginning of a journey (I feel Ul'dah is the "canon location" where your character's story is meant to begin if you follow canon storylines) with the night time version ("Sultana Dreaming") is so gentle compared to it and really sleepy, just perfect for chilling out in.

Limsa Lominsa, Ul'dah, and Gridania are the 3 starting cities, so seasoned players have probably heard those for hundreds of hours, and all players would have heard them when they started game. It's awesome to see you recognizing so many of the tracks now despite never having played :)

there is just something beautiful about seeing a bunch of people come together for something they are passionate about.

I can't fathom the work that went into making this, the composing, arranging, editing, finding people of all skill levels a spot to shine, just a tremendous effort. I now you have probably heard this before but the free trial starting next week now goes up to stormblood (the second expansion) so lots of content for free.
Also they cut out a lot of the arr fluff so you may have a better experience this time

I can play several instruments but I can't really play them all that well. I can sing... but I'll never have the singing voice of many of these people.
It's not just talent, though. It's a testament to hours upon hours of bleeding fingers and damaged vocal chords :)

Ahhhh the medley's always ALWAYS hit me in the feels. I don't know what it is about them, I even shed some tears during the Endwalker trailer... anyways, been following your channel since your first few reacts to the game music and I've enjoyed them all since. I think it's about time to welcome you to the FFXIV community as an actual member! You might not play the game but hearing your appreciation for the music of the game is awesome. It's really about watching people coming together who share a love for something and making something great together. Separately we may not run into anyone like us with our interests and talents, but TH-cam gives us so much reach to find your community and feel understood and seen. Something I find fascinating is the spread of people you see here. From youngsters, to people using vTuber avatars to people beyond 40 years in age, all united by a single "game" albeit calling FF14 merely a game falls short to what it means to many of us.

Yeah, for a lot of people, the thing with Soken playing otamatone starts with the pre-endwalker digital fan fest performance, but I swear I remember like a video from a fan fest in like the early heavensward era on reddit where somebody handed him an otamatone while meeting him in an open convention floor setting at a fanfest or something and he made an attempt to play it and it had been a smaller ongoing meme for a while until the la-hee @ fanfest moment.
@@kawaxiv They did, and his first performance with them was the Yanxia theme song. Obviously nowhere near as accessible to find because it wasn't streamed, but you can find cell phone footage videos up on TH-cam.

When are you going to play FFXIV, on Tuesday 6.5 patch drops making free trail all the way through until level 70, no time limit, So you get ARR, Heavensward, and Stormblood for free, xbox beta is also dropping. The music has much more meaning when it is put into context.

The first few songs, the main city songs, are super underrated because people will spend most of their time in the cities. Ul'dah ("A New Hope") is my favourite because it's one of those that feels like the beginning of a journey (I feel Ul'dah is the "canon location" where your character's story is meant to begin if you follow canon storylines) with the night time version ("Sultana Dreaming") is so gentle compared to it and really sleepy, just perfect for chilling out in.
