I have been an Irvin fan before he was a Cowboy. Own 5 of his game worn jerseys including his rookie worn in Landry’s last Win at RFK. Huge fan of his.
watched the NFL avidly from 1981, until 2016 or so. Longtime Dallas fan from birth. Only saw 2 who were better (Rice, Cris Carter). Irvin being drafted in early '88 was my fave draft selection of all-time (then and now). At a young age, i knew he was EXACTLY what Dallas needed. As they were always getting pushed around by the likes of Washington, NY Giants, etc. That sh1t stopped. And Michael was a key reason why.
@@vacairripatterson1504 that’s a great compliment. Many don’t give him much respect but you obviously seen him play and remember him where as it seems average football fan doesn’t.
The best! Been watching the NFL since the early 80s. On the offensive side, never seen a player with more heart than Him. If anyone, maybe Emmitt Smith.
He has a national championship ring. He's in the college football hall of fame. He has 3 Super Bowl rings and has a gold jacket and a bus in the pro football hall of fame. He my not be the best receiver like Jerry Rice, but he has the rings to back his play up.
I'm a diehard Cowboys fan and I hate to say it, but Rice was better. I don't think by a lot, but for sure better. I think Irvin is top 10. Rice Moss Owen's Irvin Megatron.
Were you alive to witness Michael Irvin's career?
Oh yes I was
Oh yeah I'm 50 years old I've been watching the cowboys every since I was a little boy!😎
indeed.
Absolutely

Boom!
As a 49ers fan I can say he was the second best receiver behind Jerry Rice.
👍

Most Wide Receivers today drop every other ball...Irvin, like Chris Carter, caught everything
💯
Cris Carter

We got Emmitt coming up!
He wasn't as good as JERRY RICE! JERRY RICE is THE GOAT!
Dude was clutch in big moments. Built like a tight end.

I honestly don't believe Irvin is to far behind Jerry Rice.
As a Packer Fam Michael Irvin tortured my childhood!! He was a Beast!!

My guy was definately top 2 and he wasn't #2. I'd pick him over Rice every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

1:48 What's with the random clip of Odell Beckham Jr.? Are you a Giants fan and just trolling? What gives?
Glad you caught that! Only person to mention it. Wanted to see how much people were actually watching. Not a Giants fan my guy. Who’s your team?
@hotrouteYT DC4L as the kids say, haha.
