#ShannonSharpe #NFL
Who you got in your Top 3 NFL WR of all time?
1. Moss
2. Rice
3. TO
T.O
MOSS
RICE
#1 = Rice
#2 = Moss
#3 = Owens
*My Favorite = TO (because he brings the most fire & excitement to the game)
*My Most Ideal Teammate = Moss (because his approach jives with mine the best)
1. Moss - Most Explosive - His TD's were limited by his targets. If you gave 10 deep ball's a game he gets at least 7 TD's a game. Knowing the play and sending coverage would have no impact on the outcome.
2. Rice - Best Route runner - get open quickest, does not drop the ball! But success was based on precision not dominance.
3. TO - Most complete - helps on the run and pass. Most versatile. He can run, run block, play possession and get deep.
T.O don’t let your friends lie to you, you not better than Randy Moss
T.O. literally played a SB with a broken ankle and still almost won MVP.
Almost only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades bud
I believe it was the hand grenade that broke his ankle.
I got Jerry rice , t.o , megatron ,randy moss
And then was called selfish the next day from the media. Ridiculous
Too bad McNabb mc puked or mc choked when it counted
I think Michael Irvin is overlooked a lot. That fella was a dangerous man in the regular season and playoffs plus he come up in big moments a lot and basically got the ball down the field for Emmit Smith just to run in with touchdown. Irvin was more than just statistics, fella was a playmaker and you knew he was coming and nothing you could do.
I agree. As a 49ers fan, he was no joke. They dont call him the "Playmaker" for nothing.
I’m a cowboy fan since 76. Michael Irvin was a problem . To think he never really had a serious #2 receiver outside of Harper for like 3 yrs and they still couldn’t do a damn thing with him .
I agree and Michael Irvin still holds an NFL record of having over 100 yards receiving in 11 or 12 straight games during there Super Bowl 30 run in the 1995-1996 NFL Season. That record still stands that is something that Jerry Rice(Who is the greatest WR of all time in my book), Randy Moss, Terrell Owens, and Marvin Harrison has never done in 1 season
I agree, Michael the playmaker irvin should be regarded as one of the best WR of all time. Top 10 fs if not top 5
And Michael Irvin stabbed his own teammate over a damn haircut extremely pathetic
Rice was a pro bowler at 40 ! and played til he was 42 T.O. could've went even further. even at 47 he can be a 3rd down option easy
Yea they denied him that but also his mouth and drops were enough of an excuse for them
Hearing his age makes me feel mad old
Absolutely. Physical specimen
TO had 900+ yds his last season, I was genuinely shocked that nobody signed him.
He definitely could’ve been a solid 3rd option
When you rub people the wrong way = TO
Man Growing up I seen so many Dallas Cowboys T.O. Jersey or Eagles jerseys it was insane. Put some respect on this man legacy!
Eagles should’ve never got rid of him they should’ve paid that man.
McNabb needed to realize TO was the best thing to ever happen to him. He coulda been in the HOF if he had enough of his prime years that coincided with TOs prime years.
They did pay him. He regretted his contract and pouted about it. You can't reason with the mentally ill.
That was just as much T.O.'s fault though.
@@jessefehr7249 true. But they could have approached it a different way. It seemed to me as an outsider who doesn't know anything about mental health, he just needed more support from his teammates. He wanted people to give him love. And his talent was worth trying to deal with his emotional issues.
As an Eagles fan T.O was my favorite wide receiver to watch. Wish we had a few more years together in Philly 🏆 Will never forget SB 39 performance
Me too Terrell Owens best receiver we ever had 🦅 and my favorite receiver
9/122 on a broken ankle made T.O 1st ballot IMO..... put aside any 'character' issues in my eyes.
@@TripAces Facts
T.O. hands down my favorite receiver. I am a Cowboys fan and he had me rooting for the eagles.. Nfl had it out against T.O.... Dude is a beast
Are we just not gonna talk about the mamba jacket TO is wearing?! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Sick!
Facts bruh, I’m searching the comments to see if anybody has the drop on where I can cop one
Notice that to it's dope
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I remember being a 11 year old immigrant kid from the Caribbean not understand anything about football or what the heck this game was, guys like T.O and Ricky Williams made me fall in love with american football. crazy how the league did them
100% agree with shannon's top 3 WR's of all-time
HIS RUN AFTER CATCH ABILITY?
*WHEW*
I really didn't like the way the media would treat TO. This dude did talk to talk but he would also walk to walk.
TO was no joke.
In what way did they treat him? He was constantly begging for attention and complaining.
@@jessefehr7249 like I said he could talk to talk we could also walk to walk they always made him seem he was a bad guy
Man T.O if you see this message just know you was appreciated in Dallas fam. One of the best to ever do it. You are top 3 imo😎😎😎🔥🔥🔥🔥
Rice
Moss
TO
Naw I take to over moss. TO could do more
@@donnellbrown4575 bro what? Have you seen Randy Moss😂he’s literally known for being able to do everything
@@klypz2175 not tru. Moss would not over the middle an did not run routs like TO.
@@donnellbrown4575 Randy Moss ran a 4.25 and could catch in any coverage. He didn’t need to run routes.
@@donnellbrown4575 *also had the best hands in the league
I'm going to be politically incorrect , Shannon's brother Sterling was just as Good as Jerry Rice , plus he could block !
If he had played longer prolly would be in Canton by now
Nothing wrong with this statement. Sterling was exceptional indeed.
@@jeremiahrhodes8760 He should still be in
@@adgee5401 true
Hell i forgot about Sterling. Highlights first i watched i looked for roger craig, barry sanders, michael irwin, jerry rice, joe montana, dan marino, sterling sharp and most of all ronnie lott ( reasons i not put here as he was another level)
Edit every week you almost guaranteed to see them all.
I think megatron couldve been the goat but retired early so top 3 are rice moss and T.O no question
I live for this comment
He would've been at least top 3 if he hadn't gone to the lions
He’s still the goat in my eyes. Just like Barry would’ve been easily considered the goat if he played longer.
Megatron was a cheat code or a glitch. NFL realized it and got him to retired early so future WRs have a chance to look good.
He wouldn't have passed Rice but he'd definitely be in the convo of top 3-5 with the likes of TO, Moss and Fitz.
Jerry has the numbers and the rings. I don't think we'll ever see that again
With two hall of fame qbs throwing to him as well
@@joshbirch6182 they made each other better
Name the other receivers they play with I'll wait Jerry Rice the best
@@joshbirch6182 Brady is a sure fire HoFer and Culpepper would have been had he not gotten injured. @@gibster9624 moss never had farve, Brady
Get Tony Romo on the show. That would be hella interesting to see.

Jerry Rice

Randy Moss
Rice moss then it’s t.o 👊🏽
Moss is better than T.O.
Moss isn't better than t.o 😂😂
@@davidjones3625 Fitz>Moss and TO
moss was way better and more talented then owen and rice
As someone who didn't wear gloves playing in high school and then wore gloves at the minor league level and felt first hand how much gloves help, Steve Largent and Tim Brown are in my top 3. You have to be a real "dude" to put up numbers like they did without ever wearing gloves. Even today in 2022, Brown is still in the top 10 in receiving yards and Largent is top 20.
Rice. Owens. Moss.
Cris Carter
Rice, Fitzgerald, T.O, Moss💯💪🏾
@@Twoofus0525 Rice, Fitzgerald, Owens, Moss and Megatron
@@Twoofus0525 U mad right and Top 3 Moss is OUT because u choose ur games i choose whoever gets on Top 3
Could agree but i put Megatron ahead of Moss...
I think Megatron would never say he choose his games.
Man I love T.O hes a beast and he can play at a high level now.. Rn hes better than half the WRs today
Sterling Sharpe was the very best wide out I've seen!!!!!!!
...and if Shannon would've named his brother in the top three, I wouldn't have been upset!!
You a huge biased packers fan then and must be kidding Lmaoo.
Looking at Sterling Sharpe’s per season stats and watching his tape, guy was legit. Only WR better than him during that time was Rice. It’s a shame his career was cut short.
if megatron played longer i feel like he’d be in that convo as a top 3 wr
NO DOUBT
This man racked up over 100 yards in the SB... on a broken ankle. Nuff said #GOATSHIT
Man I grew up watching T.O. This the man who got me into football. Best WR of this generation.
Likewise
Randy moss is better
I always wanted to see Shannon and Marino play together that would been unstoppable also PAUL WARFIELD was great
I’m a Viking fan and I’ll always say Randy is the best. What I don’t understand is why isn’t Calvin Johnson ( MegaTron ) considered or talked about in these conversations?
I played WR in high school because I wanted to be like Randy Moss. So he’s my #1 receiver of all time. But TO is my #2. Followed by Rice, Marvin Harrison, and Tim Brown
S

Calvin Johnson (Megatron) is the best WR ever he just retired too early but his prime is better than any other receiver.
He had head injuries and was from an academic family. Also he had realized the NFL didn't care about him or his health they tried to dope him up and force him to play at risk for serious consequences. He was absolutely the best receiver of all time, his team was just really bad. Still broke records while being triple covered catching balls from five different quarterbacks on one of the worst teams of all time. He played the game and was an upstanding human.
Damn his brother would have been up there if he didn’t get injured! 😔
Easily.
@@Maal7432 I remember having a poster in my room as a kid that said Sharpe Attack and half of the poster was Sterling and the other half was Shannon. I am a Jet fan but I was always a fan of Sterling!
Absolutely! And he did it with Don Majkowski and Mike Tomczak throwing him the ball!
It's 10 years unless your Patrick Mahomes. He apparently has gotten into the hall of fame after a season and now that he is in year 3, he's first ballot.
There isn’t a “one season” hall of fame. People are saying that because it’s likely seeing as what he’s already accomplished
I love listening to Shannon Sharpe talk about football
JERRY RICE , T.O ,CALVIN JOHNSON , CHAD JOHNSON , Randy MOSS
Lol thank you. Randy Moss is stupid overrated. Him and Tyreek Hill do the same thing. Nothing but go-routes with 4.2 speed.
Jerry, T.o,and Randy moss are the BEST three receivers of all time.
And if MEGATRON of Detroit Lions would have had a full NFL career, he would have been a top three candidate TO
Sterling Sharpe is in my top 3! If he didn't get hurt he would be right up there. Favre was entering prime and had back to back 100 catch seasons.
My favorite player to put on a pair of cleats. Misunderstood by the media and that is why he got snubbed for the jacket. He is first ballot in my opinion but for the real ones he is a good brotha✊🏾
Love Terrell Owens. And those headphones AWESOME!
No doubt at all, GOTTA be Megatron going in!!!!!!!! Best individual freak, required true vice style coverage, entire route tree, took major hits and had concussion issues that pushed him out after nine. Not a flash in pan, a true game changer. You know he had 200+ yards in playoff games, 300+ yards in a non OT game and holds the NFL single season receiving yards record. Humanitarian too, used his GA Tech education to invent a solar water purification system that literally saved villages! Mic drop......
Fitz and Megatron right in there peers
T.o is my favorite player of all time the greatest w.r in the game period. I really love this man hes my hero growing up
Moss is my favorite, he was better then owens and rice
Is that why he disappeared in SBs?
??? Only catch deep balls want block and if the ball nt thrown to him he want run and he better then Rice and TO TO take a 5 yard pass to the house running over the whole team Randy run out of bounds when the smallest dude on the team the corner back chasing him what game u watching highlight
Better at running his mouth and making excuses.
What's up T.O.? Niner fan here! As a receiver myself in high school and college. And as a WR coach for varsity football, let's just say I know the position. I saw every single Rice game he played growing up in NorCal. Moss is the best I've ever seen. I love me some T.O., but you had the case of the drops. Moss is the GOAT. Come at me Niner fans about Rice not being the GOAT. I don't care. It's my opinion. T.O. was the most physical aside from Irvin.
Jerry Rice is the absolute greatest wide receiver and it’s not even close
Sterling Sharpe is a top 3 receiver. My favorite receiver of all time.
To this day T.O. has been my favorite player to ever walk that field! I still can't believe how underrated he is with his crazy resume. We have people today talking about Devonte Adams better than T.O. pfhahaha what a joke and how quickly people forget dude snagged 900+ his last year in the league at age 37!!! RICE, T.O., MOSS in that order!
Rice most complete receiver ever go deep go over thr middle not a bunch of dropped passes never quit on his team got the numbers thr hardware and the longevity rice is the goat period
Okay T.O. great show 👍🏽
Larry Fitz is always overlooked and Michael Irvin too
Cowboy fan
@@yahshimayahjudah6521 wrong
Fitz - Underrated. Irvin - overrated.
I've Always Loved Terrell Owens Personally. I Think Most Fans Did. He Embraced His Greatness.
T O is a legend.
He is , who he is......... Quality. U did good.
Wow those headphones are fresh 🔥🔥
Rice
Moss
TO
AB and Megatron had a chance, hopefully we get the 5 str8 1200 yrds 100 recpetions AB back
Ab is still elite it’s just he has to go to a different team like the packers or something because Bucs have too many weapons
I would put Larry Fitz over T.O.
Julio better than AB.. One problem for Julio has been injuries but with minimal injuries he’d already be in the convo for top 5 and still is if he finished strong
omg how could I foget Fitz
Your opinion doesn't count ... Unc does
1. Rice
2. T.O.
3. Moss
Man I don't care for TO personally but damn if he doesn't know how to play a scene. Him leaning back with the popcorn saying "go ahead keep talking" as Shannon spoke his piece on TO's greatness was beautiful.
You could debate top 3 WR's all time forever with like 10 names or more... hahaha. Just the way it is. Jerry Rice, Michael Irvin, Randy Moss, Terrell Owens, Larry Fitzgerald, Calvin Johnson, Julio Jones, Tim Brown, Marvin Harrison, Cris Carter. All fucking dawgs!!! But I'm gonna go Rice, Moss, T.O... Irvin and Fitz right there for me tho. I hate the Cowboys but I think Michael Irvin is very underrated
for me. moss, megatron, Owens, rice. in that order. The 5th spot is highly up for debate, but to me those are by far the best 4 receivers in nfl history and it’s not even close.
Imagine TO and Moss with social media haha
1. Jerry Rice
2. Randy Moss
3. Calvin Johnson
4. Tim Brown
5. Steve Smith
6. Marvin Harrison
7. Chris Carter
8. Michael Irvin
9. Larry Fitzgerald
10. Isaac Bruce
As a huge Kobe fan, I want that jacket!!!! 💯 🔥
T.O. would’ve obliterated every WR if it weren’t for the drops and there’s no way Shannon shouldn’t have been on that all century team. He’s the reason the TE’s line up at WR. HE STARTED IT!!!!
Kellen Winslow Sr was doing that long before Shannon was even drafted.
So you are saying T.O. would have obliterated every WR if he could do what recievers are supposed to be able to do which is catch the ball?
That is like saying...(so and so) would be the fastest person in the league if he could run 2 mph faster.
Jerry Rice
TO
Moss
Terrell owens been and always will be my favorite WR was such a f#&*kin beast.
Has there ever been a point in time where he’s been the best WR in the league? No not at all. He’s always consistently good not great.
Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, Calvin Johnson
I respect the greats like TO, Moss, Harrison, Megatron, Andre Johnson, etc but Rice’s career longevity, peak, length of peak, competitiveness, preparation, IQ, route running, hands, toughness, rac...so complete, and even without burner speed his playing speed and other aspects made him the GOAT, look at how many more seasons all these other elite receivers would have needed to play to catch his records, he’s the one player nobody will catch
Philly loves you T.O.
1.Rice
2. Moss/Terrell
3. Who ever u prefer as style and of player
4. Calvin Johnson
5. Larry fitz
Man. Idk I may put Andre Johnson in there.
I watched you back in the day brotha
This dude terrell smackin that popcorn😭
MOSS IS THE GOAT, rice has the stats but moss is unbelievable to watch
He also tell u what routes he won't run & will quit on his team..Vikings, Raiders & Pats😞
@@dperfect28 and he still made it to the Hall on his first try lmao.
Facts 🔥💯!! Moss halfassed damn near his entire career while Rice and TO worked their asses off and he STILL ended up being on the same level as them 😂! Hell, some people like myself believe he was even better than the other two!
Jerry was always open, not in the sense that if you threw it 1/1 the guy would catch it, but in the sense that he always had separation
@@NeonSuperNovas It just shows the NFL writers really hate T.O.
1. Jerry Rice
2. Calvin Johnson
3. T.O.
4. Julio Jones
5. Moss
I can’t put anyone over Randy for GOAT but really just based on the eye test
Needed this
Moss
Owens
Calvin Johnson
Rice had more yards after 35 then those guys had after 30 combined. Gtfoh
This man dont get enough credit played the team of the decade in the super bowl with a BROKEN ANKLE an was the best player on the field that day..from a patriots fan🐐
Rice,Moss,T.O as far as tight ends Gronk, Gonzalez, Winslow,Sharpe
I love Shay more than life itself but in all honesty, he is among the top 5 TE of all-time. Definitely behind Tony Gonzalez, Rob Gronkowski, Kellen Winslow Sr., John Mackey and probably Shay at #5. Shannon was a matchup nightmare for the ages
Rice , T.O. Moss
Miss watching T.O playing on Sunday
Shannon be keeping it REAL
1. Rice 2. T.O. 3. Moss. 4. Fitz I think Hines Ward is the most underrated and overlooked. If you look at his career accomplishments, and consider many of his early years he produced without good QBs, he has 3 SB appearances with two wins AND an MVP, he should be an HOF someday. I'm sure if you compare his accolades to other receivers in the HOF, he is as good or better than at least 30% of them.
We need more shows like this. All that network crap is played out.
Terrell Owens best receiver ever wish he could of stayed in Philadelphia and got that Super Bowl ring with us 🦅
UNC Shay...golden as always...🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
The NFL blackballed T.O. it's that simple. If he played in today's NFL he would put up video game numbers.
Not really. He was a locker room problem after he became a star. Even in his latter years there was talk about him causing problems in the locker room.
It is so hard to say you had some great wide receivers in the 60s and 70s a run oriented time such as Swan ,Stallwort
Bob Hayes
@@ericanderson7059 Amen Bullet Bob#22
bruh im 27, by the time I was old enough to actually care about football romo was my favorite. he was a magic man on the field. then he got TO and went tf off in his stats. You dont gotta like him but dont deny TOs greatness. i have jerry rice, then TO, then randy moss
He jeopardized his football accolades by his antics and allowed the powers to control his ultimate focus and passion of the HOF
keep doing good content goat
I don't care what anybody says T.O. was always and will always be my favorite wr of all time he played with rage and a will to win and never tried to be anybody but himself all time props to the one and only T.O. 💯 ✊💪
Love those headphones, I need them :)
Eli isn't talented he's skilled.
Elway, Montana and Rogers are talented.
Doesn’t make sense
Holy smoke i agree with shann sharpe JR TO and RM are the trinity. Imagine all 3 on the same side ? A blunderbust would find a receiver. There have been better catch guys, faster guys, bigger guys. Megatron was sunlime but those three as packages and competitors leave others behind in too many areas. All three were different and the same all at once. 9ers were blessed to see each of them.
1. T.O
2.Calvin Johnson
3.Antonio Brown
Larry Fitzgerald is top 5, #3 for me
First of all, their will never be another T.O. ever!
Moss was better than T.O no question, Moss got the best hands in history
Overall TO has better numbers. Moss was physically more gifted but he took a lot of days off, especially during his tenure with the raiders. TO gave his best no matter what his situation was. He played in a super bowl and had over 100 yards with a repaired leg 7-8 weeks after surgery
Moss was pure speed, but scared to go over the middle... He got those alligator arms over the middle
Cris Carter has the best hands in history. 2nd would be either Larry Fitzgerald or Steve Largent
80, 81 and 84
As a reciever Owens is bigger stronger, faster and more athletic than Rice, he's a more well rounded player than Moss. Played harder every play, made catches over the middle, the best blocking receiver of his era. Jerry was the best route runner and fundamentally sound of the three. Moss was the fastest and better deep threat of the three. T.O. was the most well rounded of the three. I also think that Larry Fitzgerald should get WAY more all time great respect than what he does, at least top 5 all time. Should be mentioned with this group when he retires. I see people mentioning Megatron in the comments, that's cool , then Sterling Sharpe should as many mentions.
