I cannot find any mention of the leaves of catalpas tree toxic to goats or not. The comments on the tree itself say the leaves are toxic to some animals and I need to know if that includes goats. It says the "beans" or seeds are not toxic. Can you give me an answer regarding the leaves?

I have buckeye trees on my property. I've had goats for 10 years and never had a problem with them. But recently I got two young goats (5 mo., 6 mo.) both of which got diarreha after 2 days here. The only thing they could possibly have eaten here besides their hay and goat chow are dry buckeye leaves on the ground. What are the chances that this could cause their diarreha? My other 1 year old goat is in the same place and he doesn't have diarreha.

How toxic is avocado, and is it only the Mexican avocado variety that dogs can react to? We live in Hawaii. Our goats love to eat avocado leaves and actually killed a small tree we had in the pasture by stripping the bark off and eating that, as well as all the leaves. We even had enclosed it in a 42" high fence, but they loved it so much they jumped the fence!

@@user-gc8dh2tm7p We live in Hawaii and our goats have eaten avocado leaves for years now with no noticeable ill effects. I'm thinking it has to do with the Mexican variety.
