    Chloe, you're a lot of fun to watch!😃 I'm a SoCal boy from LA, but used to live in Escondido and miss the mountain biking trails in San Diego. I left my lifelong home for Arkansas five years ago and I'm gaining an interest in off- roading. I've been a Tacoma owner for the past 16 years and just now got my 3rd Gen. Love your channel! Good vibes to you from Arkansas!🤟🤟

    I've been waiting for this video, thanks for posting, it didn't disappoint :) One of my favorite trails, amazing views if you just want to drive the fire roads and see the sights, can do it in a sedan, but some fun off-shoots for wheeling 4WD when you want something more challenging. Great thing is it's close to the city/suburbs & lots of border patrol in the area in case you have an issue and need help.

    Hey Chole not sure if you already do but when you're off roading make sure to put the transmission in sequential mode I do all the time when I go offroading mostly 1st, and 2nd gear is what I normally just use, also it allows for a more control and a better time engine breaking especially when going down hills and feels too have better power going up hills as well also after airing down my tires between 15~18 psi I always just hold down my toe control button to torn off lsd and traction control completely helps when you're in 2wd and 4Hi Happy trails be safe.

  • @MrKevinleeg713

    Hey Guys! I would like to share my most recent experience. So i have been coming to Otay Mountain Truck trail (OMTT), ever since i bought my 2019 Toyota tocoma in August 2019.. I would visit the place very frequent and during covid became my go to place to just go for a nice escape!. So needless to say with gas prices being the way it has been i haven't been for a good 3-6 months. I believe the last time i went was around march or april of 2022. Today August 24th, I decided to go as i was getting the itch to see the gorgerous sunsets this place is famous for.. I had quite the experience! So for starters. the Pio Pico Gate is CLOSED!!! I went inside the Pio Pico store and asked the cashier who told me it's been closed for the past 4 months or so. The lady was kind enough to tell me another entrance which is in Dulzura by a shooting club(15 min drive from pio pico) . I was warned that that is the ONLY ONE WAY IN ONE WAY OUT. So i went and found myself reunited with the beautiful trail! but when i went i was stopped by border patrol agent multiple times, who warned me that there has been an increased in gang /possible drug cartel related activities, such as murders, accidents, with trucks loading bodies in the back and dumping them off! So i finally continued and saw my sunset! and i thought to myself, i better leave before it gets too dark... So i go down the usually route, which takes you to 905 and the detention center. I found that at the end the gate was closed and locked, which doesn't surprised me because in the past i would just go around, but nooooo there were an additional wall of baricades. and i thought i was stucked! fortunately i found a way out! i tested the power of my Tacoma and made the steep accent from dirt and was almost to the pavement when 4 border patrol agents came to me and lit me up. An agent came out to me and said " you know what you're doing is illegal" I acknowledge my wrong doing but admitted i was only there for fun and looking for a way out. The agents ended up letting me go after running my plates and my I.D but again i was warned that there has been an uptick of violence and criminal activities on OMTT. I really hope that this violence will end, and i really appreciate what our border patrol does to keep this country safe. I only want to warn my fellow community members to plan ahead and stay safe if you go out to OMTT!

    Great share! I noticed no beeping sound with the 4L. I must be doing something wrong.
    I like how you showed the air down (PSI 20) and up (PSI 35). I’m digging the fog lights too.
    I live out in the Reno NV area, I took my truck off road at Grimes point near Fallon NV.
    How do you like your steps, mine took a hit, nothing major, the sound of it hitting sounded worse.
    Cheers!

    • @ChloeKuo
      @ChloeKuo  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      For some reason, mine didn't beep when I filmed it this particular time (it must've known the camera was on lol) but it always does! I actually recently took off the steps and put some rock sliders on instead. My steps took a little bit of beating and I hated how much ground clearance I lost because of them. I'll have to check out Grimes point if I'm ever in NV!

    Excellent job Chloe! By the way, what drone do you use? I am a neophyte to this technology, but want to film that sky video. I agree the views from the top of Otay are majestic; especially now with the cloud cover. I would also tell your viewers that the Otay trail has many cross trails, so if you explore, mark your trail. I guess your trailhead was Marrone Valley Road. Many of those access trails to Marrone are gated except that main one marked truck trail. First trip I had an excersice finding my way back to that open truck trail gate.
