    I'm not the biggest fan of a recent update for #NoRestfortheWicked... 🙃 IMO previous "The Crucible" was way much more challenging and fun than the new Roguelike version. What do you think about this? 🤔 New system IMO allows you to gain rare materials like silver too easy + the perk (echos) system is weird - the common echos are to most useful while the rare ones are mostly not wanted. 🥴 It has a potential but req a solid redesign IMO.

      Agreed, the downsides for the rare echoes are way too high. Once I randomed a "remove focus" echo...that fight took Forever haha. Not fun.
      The prices of the mats are x3 or x4 the normal shop and they aren't farmable otherwise without making multiple worlds which feels like cheese. I don't think that's a problem atm.
      I think the old crucible was easier as I could not fail, this one there's more ways for things to go wrong - mostly ledges and detrimental echoes.
      Fast weapons like daggers or 1h seem comparatively stronger now and slow weapons like 2h and staves seem weaker.

      @@Alternative-Works Hmmm... jumping elements never been a issue to me so mby thats why I didn't noticed it + mby as you said my build (life steal) goes well with the new system idk. and thats why I have these weird experience with it. Just look at my Echo Knight fight and thats basically with the common echoes (one of my weakest runs) and still I'm almost unkillable.

      @@Scream_Wattson Definitely. While technically a 2h, my dual daggers build makes quick work of EK just like you did here, but my 2h greatsword or staff have to work for their wins...fast weapons get to massively benefit from all the on hit abilities (stam, focus, lifesteal on hit) much better than the slow 2h. Maybe there's a good multi hit rune for them that I'm not aware of yet...

    Notes on the build-
    - We use the exact same ring setup! Even the order of the slots is the same...
    - Noticed you had a plague gem on a weapon with a % heat dmg modifier. I thought only the strongest took precedence...
    - Same thing for the % dmg gem and %dmg stat on the torch, did you test this to work? Thought these did not have any effect.
    - Despite all that, even with weaker gear, this build is better than anything with a 2h. They probably need to get x2 to their modifiers to compensate for losing half the gem/mod slots

      1) Yes i tested it and torch dmg% affects a main hand same as it works with shields + on my torch I have a weapon enchant (I didn't use it this time but I usually boost my DMG with it)
      2) Both work the plague one and the heat one. However, as you noticed, the weapon shows the effect of the stat with the higher %
      3) This build is generally based on a massive amount of life, which benefits enormously from life stealing. Additionally, high focus regeneration allows you to spam stagger as you can see which is OP against 99% of enemies and can go through any type of armor. People laughed at me at the beginning because I didn't have a single point added to my strength or any offensive attribute, but as you can see in the attached picture, it works extremely well now. Additionally, the ability to EXALT allowed for reducing the negative characteristics of the armor, which further strengthened the current build.
