Hard disagree on Ice , maybe we have different definitions of what soloing means but imo Ice is only second to death in terms of pure solo. Sure it has low damage but you never die , I personally soloed everything up to Avalon on my ice which is where I currently am , and I mean everything Tower of the Helephant , Lower/upper zigazag , waterworks , atlantea etc. Not to mention after level 100 you get some of the best shad aoes in the game (Freeze ray , snowball barrage). Ice , Death and Life should be in a tier of their own since they can solo everything in the right hands and you'll never need to teamup outside of farming.
Sure they can solo but they do no damage and everything takes way too much time. Waiting for ur school blade till lvl 38 is horrendous. On top of that their level 48 is the weakest 7 pip aoe, I would rather take myth and storm and end fights quickly
I’ve done every school solo up until Mirage, all with triple double pets and full waterworks. And I can say that no, Ice is not the second best school to solo. Compared to Life, Ice is very lackluster in comparison. Life not only has a high-damaging 7-pip AoE, but also has the 2nd or 3rd highest damage on their Waterworks gear. With full waterworks and Triple double, My ice had around 80% damage and 56% resist. Contrast that to my Death, Life and Balance wizards which had around 105% damage and 50% resist. I actually struggled questing an Ice through Arc 2 compared to Life, Death, and even Balance surprisingly. Because of their gear stats, those three schools hit way harder, way faster, don’t pip fail very often, and still have good survivability. If you don’t believe me, you watch Ice Gold’s Solo Ice Budget Walkthrough. He starts struggling and dying a lot in Azteca.
And as an Ice, because you pip fail more often and your spells and gear stats make you deal less damage, you end up taking more damage as a result because of needing more turns to kill. You’re not going to see how much worse the questing experience is until you solo quest a Life Wizard.
@@getyaphinsup But there’s no need to keep stacking blades and lose unnecessary health when a lvl 60-lvl 99 Life can simply and reliably just blade twice and 7-pip AoE round 3 (not pip-failing on the first three rounds) and kill all the minions early. And then once the minions are down, freely feint stack the boss without worrying about minions. Can a lvl 60-lvl 99 Ice reliably do that most of the time without pip-failing? Your goal is to not die anyways. You do that by minimising how much damage you receive, which is done by casting your 7-pip AoE asap. Not by trying to compete on who can stack the most blades. Life already has very high health anyways (and overtaking Ice as the school with the most health at Max), and they still hit way faster (because of their higher damage stats and power pip chance, better 7-pip AoE), and unlike Ice, they don’t have to deal with using Prism on a Tower Shield spamming boss.
i mean balance i would put B purely because the only thing its not neutral against is balance, which makes it great for most arc1 and arc 2 worlds, but theres not a heavy amount of balance fights. theres a few annoying ones, but all in all balance is a solid choice. medium damage, comes with great blades and traps, decent heal over times, and 2 really nice all hits before 48
I mostly disagree with this list 1. Balance is super tanky and if you have the right deck setup balance bosses aren’t hard. You can also get pretty good stats on a balance. Spectral blast is insanely good. Nested makes you insanely powerful. 2. Fire i agree on, but maybe higher up 3. Myth i agree on 4. Death obviously 5. Ice is tanky so you will almost never die. It may take a couple turns more to kill but its not difficult or bad. You can also get decent damage stat contrary to what most people say. So soloing on ice is pretty dang easy if you have patience 6. Storm should be closer to the bottom because its glass cannon. In later worlds its a complete gamble as to whether you die or not. bosses can do as much damage to you as you do to them except you have half the health. Storm is 50/50 kill quick or die quick (maybe not exactly 50/50.) still a soloable school, but your odds of a ko are much higher than the tankier ones. Overall tanky schools have better survivability. 7. If you don’t have rat spin, life takes forever, but you almost never die. So maybe closer to the bottom depending on whether you have rat spin or not. I probably wouldn’t put it at number 2. Survivability is the most important quality for a solo school. Its not about killing quick as much as it is not dying and having to start over. I definitely wouldn’t put storm next to fire. Fire is a much better solo school than storm.
Think I did 5 runs that took an age (because Ice does very little damage). Just logged in and saw that I had done it but man was it frustrating. I think I finally entered with someone else because I can't imagine that I did it haha

Survivability is the most important quality for a solo school. Its not about killing quick as much as it is not dying and having to start over. I definitely wouldn’t put storm next to fire. Fire is a much better solo school than storm.
