So I did a little digging and the guy who voices Mario AND Luigi is one Marc Graue. He actually has a fairly lengthy and actually decent list of VA roles after that. Including basically every modern Rachet and Clank game. Some people rise from the most unlikely of holes I guess.
Here’s a fun fact, the reason the song sounds exactly like Hotel Mario is because it’s literally sanpled from the games soundtrack or other cdi songs, like the phillips cdi boot screen. In fact, I’m pretty sure there are NO soundfonts or vsts used for the instrumental, it’s all using the sampler, which I think is really neat. This probably doesn’t mean much to most people but I thought I’d point it out.
i'd like to imagine they read the note in the instrumental break which is why they say the opening line in the beginning but still know about the princess being captured this song is so fun lmao
The fact that they were going to the picnic before getting any hints that Peach got kidnapped, and then all of the sudden they knew, it's just absurdly funny, it's like they were supposing it already lol
