You captured that Sega CD Redbook audio quality synth sound i enjoy so much. Back when hardware limitations and pounding synths ruled gaming. And the music industry. And the film industry.(not so much the hardware limitations on the film and music industry, but you get the idea).
Ah the era of CD quality music being a new thing. When 2d platformers were reaching the peak of their greatness while having the best possible music as well.
Perhaps unintentional, but these sound close to the original arcade soundtrack, with its incredible bass and drums, and a mix of FM synths and samples with tons of channels- way too much for the SNES to handle. I love it!
+MyNewSoundtrack I had to listen to the original first, since I didn't know it (but did here that Turtles in TIme had a kickass soundtrack). I gotta say, I... I adore this track and am probably gonna play the game just 'cause it's there. Now then. let's see your take on it. 0:06 Something about this reminds me of the SUper Nintendo version of Sparkster, and GOSH IT EXPLODED! I mean the art itself's pretty darn amazing, but to come back to the music, so far the remix seems to perfectly replicate the spirit of the original track. 0:52 added solos and voices: *check* XD As usual, your own spin on the track amkes it so much more enjoyable, and obviously, the synth remix makes it all so... lively and funky. 1:33 Did not expect the switch to be THAT... y'know, different, but you did warn about the medley. Love how the "HEY!" is sitl kicking in the background, and the music's still so freakin' intense. 2:24 I swear, i'm gonna faint with all the wild west sound epicness, i'm lovin' the medley here. And the pictures of the Shredder make it all so much more... "fated battle-like", which is awesome. 3:17 KOWABUNGA, TURTLES ARE BACK AND SO'S THE SEWER AMAZINGNESS! Gotta love that transition (that and the Poke/Turtles artwork, lol). Wow. Well, this is joinin' my favorties. THat, and I need to both play this game, and rewatch the 2002 remake of the Ninja Turtles, this brought back too many good memories (I know it's not hte original, but it was decent).
hahahah thanks man! This was a perfect chance to work with some western instruments I had laying around. it's always super awesome to know you enjoy all the details and extra stuff I add in my remixes, thanks for coming back!
Man, this was epic on so many levels. You, sir, are incredible with your mixes. Please keep up the great work and showing your love for these awesome tunes. So that we may all be able to enjoy them
Alrighty man, I listen to all your remixes and love them to death. I think your Tal Tal heights MMX remix is my favorite. I just replayed Link's Awakening DX on My GBC, and I think you could make some more gameboy Zelda remixes, because I feel like the only song people care about in Link's Awakening is Tal Tal heights. Other songs in that game need some more love, and you are the perfect dude to remix them. Just a thought. Example, Ballad of the wind fish, but completely change it up so its more upbeat with a MMX or MM7 style. Even if you don't read this comment or don't think this is a good idea, I hope you keep doing what you're doing. I'm telling you this through telekinesis if you aren't actually reading the comment.
I used a bass genesis mixed with a normal finger bass you'd find in any soundfont. As for the other VSTs I mainly used synth1, SQ8L and a soundfont called The Arachno Soundfont!
Yo, I like asked that question 1,5 years ago or somethin and you declined but Imma gonna ask again: could ya please makin a remix of Funky Kong's theme from DKC? Pretty please dear Sir? I mean, it would be perfect. You said that it's good as it is but dawg I bet my ass on that you gonna make that track to be some dope burnin shit. So please give ma ears that epic ride

Bury My Shell at Wounded Knee was a pleasant surprise, my 2nd favorite track from TMNT4.
Good stuff.
This is so fricking dope! I loved the part in the middle! Very nostalgic!
I love this mix. I actually first heard this song as a rock cover by Entertainment System. I like this one too, with the Genesisy style to it.
This reminds me of Full Steam VENGEANCE!!! from Rivals of Aether. This is why I meant the beginning the video.

Love the FM bass and the arrangement in general. Care to share what VST's and production techniques you use?
I used a bass genesis mixed with a normal finger bass you'd find in any soundfont. As for the other VSTs I mainly used synth1, SQ8L and a soundfont called The Arachno Soundfont!
Well done!
awesome job
Just bumped into this! How awesome!!
Is there any way I can get this in MP3?
Happy 4th of July!
I wish to GOD they would re-create this game with PERFECT pixel animations.

Cowabunga, dude!
Rejoice fans, the TMNT Cowabunga Collection has been announced.
So...why do you not have more subscribers?
You got one in me.
GOSH DANG this is so jammin!
This would've been awesome in the new TMNT game Shredder's Revenge!
Yo, I like asked that question 1,5 years ago or somethin and you declined but Imma gonna ask again: could ya please makin a remix of Funky Kong's theme from DKC? Pretty please dear Sir?

fuckin hell i love this soooo much,!!!!! I have to ask you a favour. Is it anyway possible to get bass notes/sheet for this??
I can't really give you that at the moment but If you have guitar pro or powertab you can import a midi from vgmusic, com and see the notes!
I'm getting strong Mega Man X vibes from this.
