June Brown was phenomenal. She’ll never be forgotten. My favourite legendary character of EastEnders. They’ll all be looking down and smiling at their loved ones and their closest friends and their soap families. RIP to all of you soap legends. You’re never ever going to be forgotten. 🕊🕊🕊
Very sad yet nostalgic. Got goosebumps seeing some of their faces. However I thought it a little unfair though that some of the deceased actors got a little video clip while others didn't. Almost like saying some were bigger or more important than others.

Peggy Mitchell's "Get Out Of My Pub!" was to Eastenders what Victor Newman's "You Got That!" was on Y & R. Susan Lucci who played Erica Kane on All My Children from 1970 to 2010 did a tribute to the Various Soap Actors/Writers who died including Betty White who played Stephanie Forrester (Nee Douglas) abusive Mother on The Bold & The Beautiful. Also History was made across the Ocean when Mishael Morgan made history by being The First Black Actress to win Outstanding Lead Actress. She is also the First Caribbean Born actress to win. Also John McCook had two reasons to celebrate. He is now in his 35th Year as Eric Forrester on the Bold & The Beautiful and won his First Daytime Emmy this past Friday, June 24th.
By US Standards Patricia Brake would have been known as a "Jumper" in the sense that she would "Jump" from One Soap Opera To Another. Coronation Street/Eastenders are to The UK what All My Children/Guiding Light are to the US in the sense that many actors have worked on Both Soaps.
I kind of expected they’d forget Jo Kendall (Peggy Skilbeck of Emmerdale) seeing as they made her characters own family forget her but it hurts not to see her nonetheless. She was an original Sugden family member and she should have been remembered:(
@@dixienormous2440 I would of cheered as well because Dame Barbara Windsor and June Brown was two of the best actresses in the Soap world, those two deserved a cheer tbh!!
The original actress who played Peggy Mitchell was much better. Large woman, you could imagine her being Phil and Grant's mum. Then they got Barbara Windsor to give her flagging career a boost, but for me she was too well known for it to work.
@@stephenmcconnell1000I disagree, Dame Barbara Windsor was the better actress that played Peggy by miles, Barbara was the one that started the "GET OUTA MA PUB, BEFORE I THROW YOU OUT slogan, if it wasn't for Barbara we wouldn't have had that slogan and I actually thank her for that and it did work with Barbara Windsor, you must be in a different world than I am because she played Peggy brilliantly, she was my favourite actress on EastEnders along with Pam St Clement (Pat Butcher) and June Brown (Dot Cotton) those three made EastEnders!!

Classy and dignified. The UK soap industry knows how to pay tribute to their own.
Dame Barbara Windsor & June Brown definitely got the biggest cheers. Bet they are having fun up there 😇
Biggest cheers? It’s not a popularity contest. Really tactless comment.
@@cakes3958 Your comment is the tactless one not mine
I think your right Danny.
So emotional and heartbreaking 💔 they are not longer with us it's nice to watch back on their wonderful moments in TV history
There will never be another Peggy, Pat or Dot to compare.
Pat died?!
@@user-uk1xw nah she’s still alive in real life
@@user-uk1xw the character died, not the actress. She’s the final member of the Square’s trio: Peggy, Dot and Pat.
So many faces I grew up seeing on our TV. This made me cry.

Barbara Windsor was a wonderful actress in eastenders
@🥥coconut olivia🥥 she played peggy Mitchell, phill and sam and grants mum
Barbara and June were legendary
To all the actors who made the Soap Opera genre phenomenal, you will be missed especially Barbara Windsor, June Brown, and Johnny Briggs
So sad watching rip Amazing actors and actresses especially Peggy and dot
So sad and emotional that all up in the sky
Gone but never be forgotten
Some very iconic characters from the past and more recently. Who knew Sheila Mercer and Jonny Briggs were still with us by this point?

I didn't even know that the actor who played Ned Glover died until watching this yesterday
or Annie Sugden or Patrica Brake.
He died of Covid
Miss all TV drama show
Eastenders was never the same without Barbara Windsor and June brown
Don't forget Pam St Clement who played Pat

Sad. May they RIP.
Completely forgetting Andy Devine ( shadrach dingle ) 🙄
The cast themselves didn't even know for months
Didn't June Brown play a guest character on Corrie in its first years??
Yes! She was a Customer at a Police Station
And she appeared in an episode of Minder before she starred in Eastenders.
I didn't know the actress that played 'Mary' died! That's sad!
Yeah, me too. The original Mary is still alive, I believe.
@@stroseblue she was the original Mary I think
The fact Anna Karen Barbara Windsor and June brown are in this... Is a massive loss
Was that the backing music from Clown by Emeli Sandé in the background
Yes x
Take me to
And now Bill Treacher (Arthur Fowler)
I found it disrespectful the way they were cheering for some of them. Silence would have more appropriate.
Well they are going to cheer because they loved them so much for their performances on national television.
