Dylan and Robert ease off into the 2023 corn crop to test the new parts on the John Deere 9400 combine. Will the 2023 corn crop be any good? Watch to find out!
We're into our second week of harvest. Our 112-day corn has gotten down to 13 and 14%. It is the fastest I have ever seen the moisture fall out of corn. The last rain we got was August 23rd, which may have something to do with it.
Looks like fun! Do you guys remember the Tally boys from Ripley? Oh by the way I need to get rid of a couple of Cheek weights for 40 or 50 series tractors if interested! I am 4:51 down in MILLINGTON Tennessee!
If you decide to upgrade lights on that combine Larsen Lights has a package for those machines you can buy. It’s well worth it. I upgraded my 9500 and also my new 9750 to them.
Man yeah, can't beat some extra coin and a test and tune!! Can you tell a difference in the shelling with all that work? Boy those numbers sure looked amazing!!! Congrats gentleman, the race has began!! Looking fwd to seeing more of this!! 😁😁😁🌽🌽🌽🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🚜🚜🚜👍👍👍
The combine is doing much better with the new threshing parts. Swapping the shoe augers also made a difference in side hill performance. Losses out the back of the combine are near zero.
@@DylanJoyceFarms That makes it all worth while, just that sidehill loss has to add up substantially!! Thank you sir for the info, look fwd to seeing the full harvest soon!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍🌽🌽
We’re hoping to start beans maybe late next week here in north central Indiana. How do you guys like those rasp bars? We really like the job ours do. Great video 🌽🌽🌽👍👍👍
Our combine is doing a much better job shelling corn. The real test will be when we start into soybeans, hopefully Friday. Quite a bit of green stems and a few grassy spots. That will be the real test for the rasp bars and the draper header.
In sw indiana on my best ground I have been planting 34, 500 pop last couple years and have been averaging in the 240’s running conventional till system
Kind of funny corn price is struggling but elevators everywhere paying big premiums!!😂😂 300 bu yet🤫🤫🤫👍👍. Old Robert pushing the 9400. Thanks men careful out there. Dryer 😂😂😂😂next thing you will be wanting a bin😂😂.
Pretty good fellas, 200 bu/ac take that all day long, yes Dylan a cob to the head surely will get your attention 😁that combine sounds like it has a lot of new parts in her🤣😂🤣y’all take care and stay safe 🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸

I don't reckon I know them.
I love that y'all use the old school Deere equipment I was raised up and learned how to drive just what y'all use lol
Yep, and I intend on sticking with the old-school equipment.
I saw yaw shelling corn on esq white road you were moving on pretty good.
Yep, I'm almost done out there. We lack 6 acres down the road that goes to the lake. Down to 104 acres of corn left.
