Super Spirit Bomb works best when your teammates are distracting the Raider with melee combos and the like. It's the same with the regular Spirit Bomb. Use it as a support attack and it works really well.
I've been doing a lot of Tien gameplay recently and while Dodon ray does less damage than super electric strike or sbc, it's so fast that you can use it in TINY openings. It's fast enough to hit the raider after rocket knockbacks, so with two golden rockets, you can hit 6 dodon rays. I also use it after I use afterimage as a follow-up stun/knockback. It's not able to solo a raider like super electric strike can, but it's way better than any of the big beam attacks.
Supers in general are only good if the raider is distracted/held in place. SSB is that concept to an extreme- with how long the startup is and how damn slow it travels, running it will make you appreciate how often the raider is unwillingly stuck in place. Evolution, Area destruction, super attacks- it's made me learn a lot about situational timings that I would have otherwise spammed SBC in. Like how super attacks make the raider invincible for like, five seconds after they end.
There’s actually a meta where everyone runs super spirit bomb lvl 1. You fly up near the raider and charge it while they use AD and hit them with 7 at once. Does like 80-90% of their HP.
It also just instantly annihilates the other raiders with lower HP. Hate having to deal with Guldo? Solar flare, move just out of range of his break strike ability, then throw the bomb at him. Then get a buddy and take out Recoom just as he spawns. Can also just destroy Nappa and Jeice with this method too. Still not as spammy as just Special Beam Cannon though. Faster acting and takes out half of Saibamen and Guldo's HP, which makes it great for haunting the raider as the next civilian you see them attempt to kill can cost them lose half their health.
I adore this game but man almost four months with little content is kinda hurting lol we need a new map/ raider, also really lazy that all the maps are almost exactly the same
I wonder if the “DB: The Breakers” devs will ever add Super’s #17 as a Transphere, and I wonder if they’ll give him the move he can use in DBFZ, the one where he charges at you with a barrier up and then punches you?

200 is too much for ssb it should be 150

Almost at level 15 raider finally I can unlock a color for the raider
Be cool if they gave Transphere another super move slot so you can have your spirit bomb move and Kamehameha or kaioken etc.

Literally only use SSB as a level 4 survivor but if the raider is fighting anyone else it melts their hp real quick
All you need is a cave or a wall and 2 people with change power 2 with Full power energy blast volley
