It was such an awesome flight! I will say, my heart was beating so fast. I kept hearing all of those directions from ATC, and I’m like how is he taxiing and catching all of that at the same time. Amazing gentleman, nicely done. Keep flying high!
Awesome video, thanks for sharing. I was waiting for someone to post an approach into ATL in a GA. I'm making plans to fly there from CHS and after watching your video, I'm definitely going to do it. Thanks again.
This truly is such an awesome experience, and the fact that you did it with your son must’ve made it that much more special. The beard looks cool by the way! Haha
I had tried to go in VFR previously, and got "unable" back from ATC immediately. This time, by filing IFR, it worked out.😀 I didn't call ahead, but that would have probably been a good idea too!
Totally would have done that differently, like you suggested, if I could do it again today. The idea of getting to land at a bravo airport with my son, and trying to fit in to the ATC plan, definitely contributed to me not evaluating best flap setting. Appreciate you bringing this up. 👍👍

Thx Russ! I am checking out your vids, good stuff!
Love this so much. There is so much joy in this video! I love that Jack was being a tourist too - I know I would be!
Glad you enjoyed it!😀😀
Good job guys. And the ATL ATC Controllers are the best in the country.
They are indeed! Thx for watching!

Thanks for watching! I never have flown GA in the low country, definitely catching up on your videos!

Excellent Nathan! When did you do this?
April 2020, I *finally* got around to the editing the footage!😅
We may have to add this to an upcoming lesson plan! 😅
@@amandaglaser4470 ready when you are!
Great video! More videos like this please

Great video! Did you call up tower first and coordinate with them or did you just show up?

With that much runway available, and airliners on your tail, why use flaps at all? Just curious.
