The diopter adjustment for the viewfinder is also a nice feature for us folks with less than perfect eyesight. I also like the option of turning on the gridlines in the viewfinder.
Yep! Here's a tip. Make sure you are using Honey on your browser. Even if you don't save money on Amazon with it, it tracks your purchases and builds points in your Honey Gold. I just bought the F80 and was able to shave $20 off with Honey Gold redeemed points. They send you a gift card for whatever online shopping site you want to use, including eBay.
Just picked up a near mint one for 12 dollars at a estate auction. I have the F100 but I am starting to really collect Nikon Bodies. I have a F,F2,F3,F4,F5, F100, N2000 and FE2.

Much better ergonomics with battery handle. And shutter sound is the best I ever heard in such cameras.
I bought an F80 back in the year 2000, and its almost like new, i bought a sunpack auto zoom flash as well.
Just scooped up an F80. Can't wait to receive it. I have that lens too. Its a great set up.
Love that B+W background. It screams to be photographed.
Thanks! It was actually a photo I took in Bodi, CA...and tried using a green screen with it ...it worked ok, I think.
Thank you for nice review. One simple question: can you take a picture with Nikon F80 if the camera is not focused on the object? Thanks in advance.
Set the focus on M then you can do it
Which 85mm lens is it?
Is it the D or G ?
That's the D version.
The cost on ebay has been slowly rising over the past three yearts

Great cams!
What are those little red tags?
Just my Peak Design attachment buttons. Not part of the camera :-)
@@stevantontichphotographyvi9358 Yeah I know, I'm curious as I see them on other peoples cameras, I like the look :)
quick attachments for camera straps, makes it easy to rid the strap
this is the same setup I used when the cops attacked me and smashed by F80 and 85mm lens, I miss it
